The team has been physically weak for half a decade now. Can't tackle. Can't run through tackles. Don't hit hard. Really soft.

We've got Geelong looking like He-men out there and we keep building our list full of greyhounds and wonder why we keep getting smashed in the contest.

Tough watching but not sure we should have expected anything different.

Very young team, devoid of A grade experienced talent.

Once the pies started playing competently it was all over.

Meek giving it his all. Ramsden showing something.

What I hope for next half: just put Amon on a wing, try get some speed into the midfield and hit a target

We're not playing well and it's hard to watch.

Just nothing happening forward of centre. And getting through the middle part of the ground is an absolute grind.

First qurter was better when Chol led to the wing and we used it as the long kick target. But sheesh - can we kick it to his advantage inside 50?

Newc is having a crack and doing the things that will play him back into form. Worpel quieter this week (but he gets a pass).

We have a few players who run into trouble as the first move. Nash, Impey, Moore, Scrimshaw (sometimes) - and it is so strange.

Gee hard to find positives, we are losing relevance week on week. Maybe guys over 6’6 trying hard. Hard to scream development and have guys like butler come in and be so off the pace. Not on his own though.

A lot of alarm bells.
We don’t have the tall cattle stocks.
Our smalls don’t have the chase down speed to keep their running half backs accountable.
Our midfield has regressed considerably and we struggle to win clearances now.
Our backline is constantly under pressure but also lacks defensive accountability.
Our most reliable defender has been Sam Frost.
Despite all this the biggest problem is our inability to execute basic skills. Missed tackles, missed kicks everywhere.
Not a lot to like.
Not a lot I can disagree with there. Not much to add either.

Looks exactly like the most experienced list in the comp playing the 2nd youngest list in the comp.

Our skills are not helping.

They set up better, they weather our tackles, we are rushed, we are pressured.

I'll be interested to see how the year pans out. I do think that we have gotten the coaching structure wrong for a young group. We had four senior assistants (Fwd, Mids, Contest, Def) but now only three (lost Contest) and bought in another development coach who has very little experience.

Can't think of a player that's improved so far this year, beyond Worp and Frost.

Lloyd Meek looks like our number 1 ruck.

The midfield has looked better live than it must come across on TV. Ward, Mackenzie and Newcombe have all had nice games, at least offensively.

Don't have anything nice to say about the defensive efforts, aside from in the air, which has been okay.

If we had taken the pick GWS offered us for him twice in different years the kid would be close to 150 games now and could be a leader of this rebuild.
If only we drafted more kids so that you could rush to claim that they’re not good enough after they’ve played 30 games. 😂

We've been awful once again, but Christ we've been ****ed by injuries.
And the fixture we've been dealt doesn't help a lot either.

So deflating.
