Things you'd never ever thought you'd hear!

I am still not a big fan of him but the Bulldogs are his bunnies. In fact, they are the bunnies of every side that has more than one key forward. They're just the team you can kick bags against.

In all seriousness, Reid has impressed me. Came out in his first game of the season and showed an intensity. He's just a confidence player, same as Towers. When they're off their miles off, but when they can get their head in the game they can even surprise themselves.

The thing that pisses me off most about the umpires love affair with the Bulldogs is that it was limited to 2016, and 2016 only. The AFL got their fairytale story, now they've moved on and left the Bulldogs high and dry. They still have a talented nucleus but we should be too good for them on every line. Especially if Reid plays.

You miss round 2 last year?

They have some young guys playing for them & the Bombers aren't really a strong bodied outfit so that was as easy a game they would get.
Add the Stringer hate factor & they had their motivation.
Our midfield should carve them up & with a revolving forward line & Buddy often up the ground, we should take this by 5 goals.

At the risk of sounding like one of the Adelaide Crows coaching staff, I would just replay the 2016 GF to our boys over and over. That'd help them smash the Bulldogs heads in, then they can do the same to the umps on the way out. It'd be worth the risk of copping a punishment from the AFL. What's the worse they can do? Ban us from trading? Make the umps hate us?

Just smash the cheating pricks

Maybe we need to bring back the 2016 autopsy thread :p

The 'cheats' label should be reserved for the likes of Essendon IMHO, the Dogs are just a good side who made the most of their opportunities in 2016. They did have some luck, and the umpiring that day (among other things) is still a source of frustration, but we can't do anything about it.
Let's just focus on beating them, which we should do comfortably.

Ive never got a reply to my protest, #stillhope

More chance of Mueller finding evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia than you getting a reply IMHO. 2016 was just a weird year. Didn't think we'd get anywhere near the grand final that year after the way 2015 ended.

Cunningham will be right to go, nothing mentioned anywhere in the press conference or interviews. Reid has a chunky question mark hanging over his head, but the Daily Toilet has jumped the gun, announcing he's out for a month.

Probably another Neil Cordy special, I'm not paying to read News's garbage.

We can throw the ball in this game right? Maybe take out some legs illegally too.
Yep, all of that plus duck into high tackles. If the umps pay all that s h i t from the Dogs I'll go ballistic. I'm heading over from Adelaide for this game with my footy mad 5yo grandson.

I think Aliir needs to come in for Melican as Marsh, while servicable is too short for the role we would need to give him.

Not necessarily with the Dogs. Marsh was BOG in the 2's and could take Gowers, Rampe to take Bontempelli and Grundy to take Redpath, Dogs have a not huge forward line atm. Roughead might return but I can see them going with Marsh given he played well on the weekend and Aliir only played a half.

True, but I think we need to remember who we are playing after the Bulldogs, as you can bet we need two key defenders against Adelaide, and I for one would feel more comfortable playing Aliir against Adelaide if he has already had a game under his belt against the Bulldogs.

Reid really hurts us. We need to bring im another tall. Since amartey was best performed on the weekend he should get the nodd.

Aliir will be back, hopefully he makes the most of it
