Round 4 trades

Nah I dont. Kerridge/Wells are valuable players and still have a lot to offer at consistent scores and cash increases but think the score of lynch and cash profits of him may outweigh them. Will just maximise my profit that little bit more the progress to another Premo Mid which I am in desperate need for to add alongside: Ablett, Hanners, T.Adams, Zaha, Libba, S.Gray, D.Wells/Kerridge

Any other suggestions? I have $124k in bank and dont really want to double downgrade. Just thinking Lynch(suns), will score more v Lions than Kerridge v bullies or wells v freo
Please post your side showing how Kerridge a guy averaging low 80's and consistently scoring between 80-95 is your worst option.

You must be averaging about 2400 so far this year if Kedge is your worst option.

I would love this to be me! I've got bloody Trent McKenzie to worry about haha

I'm thinking of going Nicholls (yeah I know, stupid idea to start with him) to Roughead (dogs).
Can anyone who's watched the dogs play tell me how hes going? Any chance he wont be playing as a ruckman for the next few rounds?

Ultimately, its to hopefully bumb up to Goldy in a few weeks but who knows at this point.

Not sold on Short's job security as he's the only cheap midfield midfielder available out there. To trade or not to trade to Short
In all honesty I'd stay away from Short he did really well on debut and that alone probably earnt him a stint in the side but he's still behind Rioli and Lloyd as small fowards, he could even get dropped this week.

Ruggles v Byrne is the big question, i'll probably get the other next week but who do I go with this week?
I'm going to go Ruggles, the Cats play Essendon this week and Chris Scott singled him out to praise him in a presser. I just think he's a safer bet, If Byrne scores 60+ again next week then I'll defiantly bring him in as well.

geelong have played too tall in the back line, even though most logical people knew we were too tall its taken Chris Scott a few weeks to work it out

ruggles was good with run and carry and his disposal was very good, i would say he is safe unless his form dropped off considerably, he can really only be replaced by josh cowan or billie smedts (who wont be back for a while)

i think he will score pretty well against the bombers, id get him in over byrne, but i got both this week

Want some advice

1) keep S.Martin?
2) need to offload Howe. Thinking Howe->Ruggles to free cash. Back defence is solid
3.) Biggest headache. My rooks have turned to a pile of guff. Have Papley, Mills, Hewett, C.Ellis. Thinking to trade Mills->Duncan. But also keen on C.Daniel /T.Lynch(suns). Could move Kerridge to mid, and trade out C.Ellis and get Daniel.

Yes, keep the faith.

Good trade, do it

Would say a strong no to both Daniel and Lynch. Daniel wil be very quiet when the bulldogs finally play away from home, he won't score 128 every week. Mills to Duncan is an pretty good trade, though it could be worth downgrading either Mills or Ellis this week and going for a true premo next week. Wait for the teams this week and if no rookies are available go for Duncan.

Thoughts

I got Short for Hewett but not too convinced by Short's JS.
Either I keep Hewett for the week, and do something like Harwood to Ruggles/Byrne, or look at Hewett for Keays who is a good chance of a game this week.
Thinking maybe the first option as it will give a chance to see if Keays is worth getting in next week.
Definitely doing Graham to Zaharakis though.

Mitch Duncan is gold at 425k. Reckon he will average 100+, plays Essendon this week too.

Trading him in for B Crouch who's unfortunately going to be out for longer than expected. Gives me Zaha, Hunter, Duncan at M5/6/7 which I'm happy with for now.

Need to work out how to get Mills > T Mitchell and I'll be set! Wish I started with him instead of Hanners

Barlow to Merrett

or

Mcrouch to Zaharakis
Both are pretty much the same. If I had that option I would be doing the trade to Zaharakis. Reason? Barlow has been good in the past, scored 99 last week and may be on the improve now Mundy is out. At the moment I have the problem of Stefan Martin not delivering and costing me a pretty penny every time he spuds it up and I've got to get low scorers out of my on-field team.

OK Guys posting Up my Team and recommendations.

Remaining Salary $124k

DEF: Shaw, Houli, Laird, Adams, Dea, Cameron (Harwood, Cowan)
MID: Ablett, Hanners, T.Adams, Zaha, Libba, Wells, S.Gray, R.Davis (Hewett, Menadue)
RUC: Martin, Smith (Cox, Currie)
FWD: Hall, Martin, Barlow, Kerridge, BenKen, McCarthy (Papley, McGovern)

My Aim for this week is to maximize the expected price changes, but also maximise points scored on the ground. Doing the maths with head to head in my league I need to increase my average to secure the win against top of table clash.

My 1 trade I am set on is Harwood out for Ruggles, increasing expected price change by $12k

My next trade is a tricky one:

Option 1:

Hewett out for McDonald-Tippa (subbing BenKen to Mid, McTippa to FWD). This will increase my expected price change but will drastically reduce my average scoring of on field players

$172,000 remaining in bank

Option 2:
Papley out for Byrne (Adams to FWD via DPP)

Leaving me with $253k in the bank, increasing my $ earning potential with Byrne, but will fall me short in points scored this week

$250,000 in bank

Option 3:
Kerridge for Tom Lynch (suns). Okay I know you are thinking why the hell do I get rid of Kerridge, has great scoring potential but think this through..

Kerridge vs WBD, Av 86.3 $362k, expected price change of +$8k
Lynch vs BRI, Av 107.3, expected price change of +$16k

$57,000 in bank

So I will end up averaging approx 20pts more (which will give me the win) and also increase potential earnings, allowing me to upgrade Lynch for a S.Mitchell, T.Mitchell next week

Option 4:

Kerridge out for T.Scully (Wells DPP to FWD)

Kerridge vs WBD, Av 86.3 $362k, expected price change of +$8k
Scully vs PTA, Av 119, expected price change of +$14k

$14,000 in bank

Will end up averaging approx 40pts more, and increasing my potential earnings (not as much as lynch), and less in bank

Who do you think will score more this week and In what order? This week's trades are playing with my head...

A) Kerridge (Av 86.3) v WBD

B) T.Lynch Suns (Av 107.3) v BRI

C) T.Scully (Av 119) v PTA

Any other recommendations for my 2nd trade? I have though about getting Papley out or Hewett out, but not aware of any other players I could afford that will have greater $ Increases this week, Besides Byrne (unsure of JS)
