Is it generally accepted that too serious.net is the best place for breakevens for those plebs who don't have a subscription? Or is there a better resource elsewhere?

Might not be better, but it's an alternative

I feel like a junkie/drug addict waiting to see me dealer 😂😂
Meet me in the carpark at Coles. Lean into my car window & give me an awkward handshake.

All good, no one will suspect anything.

Ben Mckay is a good kpd.
donkey walker is not.
naughton had mckay last week. Mckay did decent.
walker had Bruce........
Adelaide dont have 2 kpf really.

Yeah you're probably right. I do like the idea of pushing Rowe off field though, so I might do this:

I think if you’ve got an underperforming premo or mid pricer that needs a good ditching then Ridley is absolutely the play but it is only round 3 and I still think the priority should be getting in good cows if they present themselves. I think Chapman is missable from an $$$ POV if you have all the good rooks + Impey and Tex and in that case I would probably lean Ridley pending what D5-8 looks like for you.

Rowe is an interesting and very annoying case - personally F6 is my weakest link and he very much looks like Bailey Scott V2 but he is playing North this week - if he’s ever going to kickstart his cash gen, it’s this week so I would probably give him this week and dump for Waterman the week after when he’s on the bubble.

Holmes has horrible JS IMO - would probably leave well alone at this stage.
All great advice. I have Impey and had decided not to go with Tex. Even now the cash generation is tempting given his draw though. LDU is certainly an underperforming sub-premo but I'd rather trade him up than down. But I guess LDU>Tex isn't looking like such a downgrade any more.

D5-8 depends on if I go the Ridley or Chapman option.
If I bring in Chapman its May, Chapman, Highmore, Parks. Chapman would be there to shore up the rookie cover more than $$$, although he should make plenty. But with so many Freo players out his JS could be shaky. If I bring in Ridley it's Daniel, May, Highmore, Parks, which might be overkill. (Parks is there because I went early on him so I could afford Ridley this week and to protect against a Kosi donut - turns out I couldn't have afforded Ridley had I not done that and Kosi was almost a donut anyway).

I'm not sure about Holmes' JS. Apparently he's highly thought of at the club and done really well in recent practice matches. He couldn't have been much more impressive today. His situation actually reminds me a lot of Jordon's at Melbourne. Could well hold his place when Danger and Menegola are back at the expense of other borderline selections.

Important trade week and a lot to think about. Only till Thursday night to decide with Sydney playing first up.

LDU > Tex is definitely an upgrade :moustache:

Hmm looking at that I would probably be tempted to go for Chapman then if you’re running 5 premo defenders already (May D5 is great depth back there). You don’t really need Ridley in that scenario and I think Chapman gets at least a month in the 1s following Young’s injury and the fact he’s very highly rated over there. Don’t mind going early on Parks although think his JS is iffy - warming a spot for Marchbank really so I would be surprised if he got more than the next fortnight. Do rate him though.

With Holmes I didn’t actually mind his role today - attended a couple of CBAs and I know he was impressive in the VFL praccys playing a lot more inside than what he did as a junior. Just can’t trust Chris Scott and tbh although he’s more expensive I would probably rather pick Dev Robertson next week if he goes well again

What do you see Cumming averaging btw?
Low 90s I'm hoping and I'd be happy with at D6.

As long as he's healthy, he'll be named every week. I really like his role - takes most of the kick-ins and is a great kick with solid DE.

What to do, what to do...

I can get Ridley and finish my backline, but I'll have no cash left over. Which is dicey, given my ruck stocks:

Ryan finished the game icing his knee, so if he's out I could just do him to Ridley and then bank some cash by finally cutting Draper:

There's definitely options that I haven't considered yet. Open to any and all suggestions.
You wanna upgrade Draper not down grade him.

Gotta get Gawn or Grundy ASAP and with the least amount of trades required.
Otherwise you've just spent 4 trades to afford two guys you could have just started with.

Cheers for the reply mate

Currently tossing up Cumming v Jiath would rather a D6 keeper

How though? Nobody else can be cut down for cash atm.

EDIT:

Wait a minute, just had a truly galaxy brain idea:
