Try not to sideways trade unless your player is injured, suspended or dropped.
Otherwise you might just find they lose form or your current player hits form.

Unless your certian their junk then dump them

im thinking about doing the following

Trading Bryce gibbs to free up some cash

then trading nick stevens for either Joel corey or Jimmy Bartel

thatwould leave me with following side

CENTRES
Jimmy Bartel or Joel Corey, Kane Cornes, Daniel Cross, Dane Swan, Rhys Palmer, Cale Morton RESERVES Tim Callan, Clint Bartram

RUCKS
Dean Cox, Troy Simmonds RESERVES Fabian Deluca, John Meesan

FORWARDS

Why trade Stevens after his best game?

Are some people serious... Yes Morton scored big this week but his two previous weeks he scored 50's. I wouldn't be starting him just yet unless i had a midfield injury.

Why do you have to trade Gibbs? Surely you picked him up as a cash cow.. he will go up, same with stevens.

But go ahead, trade away...

It'd take big coconuts to jump on Goddard after one game...

True, but he had a superb year before he got injured and 85 for the first game back in a couple of months is very impressive. Im not looking for 100+ scores straight away but im willing to be persistent and wait for that to happen as long as he doesn't get injured again. My main reasoning behind getting is just the fact that not alot of poeple have him him, only 4000 odd. Whereas Shaw is over 30,000. So it's between the safer Shaw or the risky Goddard.

Guys i'm in a bit of a dillema.

I have J. Waite and he's my only weak link at this point in time.

I was looking at the options and i feel that there isn't many - and hardly any that i can be confident about.

Would like a cash cow, but i realise that there isnt much around atm.

Guys i have in mind perhaps

Goddard
S.Selwood

Depending on how they go next round. What are others thoughts?

If LVM Injured ill be putting in Jesse Simth
If porps is injured ill be putting in Roughhead

If both maybe dowgrad porps to a hawkins and LVM to a gun defender

I took Goddard in my original line-up (risky yeah) but I think he'll be a top 10 defender come rd 22.

He's a keeper for sure.

Here is what im thinking,

Out - Dyson and Symes
In - Palmer and S.Fisher

Thoughts ?

If you must, but personally if those 2 are your biggest worries i would save the trades. Although Dyson to Palmer would be a decent trade, Palmer has been awsome thus far and Dyson 1 good game out 3, frees up some $$$ so i would probably go ahead and do that. IMO Symes is still underperforming, Fisher's price isnt going to fluctuate too much so if u can hold onto Symes for a little while longer, you'll appreaciate having an extra trade come the end of the season. :thumbsu:

For those of you always bringing up how last years winner did not trade until round 8...

This year he has traded once already.

J. Edwards -> Pfeiffer.

Well that makes my trade for this week easy...
but seriously as you say just because that worked for the guy last year doesn't mean it will this year. Sure don't blow all your trades by round 12 but if you feel there is a good opportunity (BJ in a few weeks anyone?) take it...as long as you don't take that opportunity after every round

If Porplyzia and Cox both aren't seriously hurt i'm thinking of a trade that will basically strengthen my bench:

Out: Masten
In: Bartram

Out: Scott D. Thompson/ Scott Selwood
In: Harry Taylor/ Lachie Hansen/ Pfeiffer

Not sure who to go with in that second trade, depends on the teams i guess.

I don't think there's much point of either trade. Definitely not Masten to Bartram as Masten will probably play quite a few games. The only one I see as remotely respectable is Scott Selwood to Pfeiffer as I'm not too sure Selwood will get too many games due to the Masten/Ebert/JMac/Selwood glut and Selwood finishing off year 12 this year.

Guys which one of these would you do?

Houli to Palmer
Proud to Kennelly

Or.....

Houli to Palmer
Salopek to Corey????

Doing the first trade will probably have a greater impact on your score. This is probably the one I'd make if you had to make a trade. Corey's price won't go up a lot more, but may come down quite a bit if he has a stinker. On the other hand Kennelly's price is probably going to go up for a while yet, before it goes down.

im thinking about doing the following

Trading Bryce gibbs to free up some cash

then trading nick stevens for either Joel corey or Jimmy Bartel

Trading Nick Stevens would be a mistake for now. He is set to increase in value quite a bit. Wait until his price hits a peak before trading him, especially as Corey and Bartels prices are less likely to fluctuate.

the guy who came 1st last year was probably extremely lucky, i have had 5 injuries already and i am sure there are people doing a lot worse
(3 unplayable, 2 i still have no clue in Cox and Porp)
