I’m Surprised Kosi was named ahead of Ryan …Sammy did a whole lot more than Kosi…like slot goals…take ruck duties

Depends, Kosi took 7 marks a couple contested, didn't hit the scoreboard due to his shots missing. Ryan kicked 3 but didn't really do much else. I would have picked Kosi over Ryan but they are up against Marshall this week so I would definitely play Naismith.

Who doesn't make it from that named bench though?

McAuliffe, Ralphsmith and Banks I would think. With Sonsie probably sub

One thing I will say is that I don't like the prospect of Graham being selected ahead of McAuliffe.
Might be a team balance thing, but still don't like it.

Interesting observation I had is that they lined up both Bolton and Martin at FF. If Kosi is coming in, you'd think he'd start on the field at FF. So, I actually don't think he will be selected.

The way I see it is:
Out: Lynch, Balta, Baker, Banks
In: Martin, Naismith, Graham, Ralphsmith (Sub)

Concerns me that Miller, Kosi, Naismith are all on the bench with Graham, Sonsie & McAuliffe. I can see Banks and Ralphsmith not playing, but 2 more have to be cut.

Dow was very good last week, with 18 disposals and 6 clearances, 6 score involvements as well as party pressure…He’s going alright
Hopefully has a good impact this weekend as well. That way more people will believe he can play.

I would say his game was half decent and only by comparison to his first 3 games which were utter shit. Averaged 11.5 touches over the first 3 games playing midfield… 1 game doesn’t change that. He’s had a block of 4. Go back to the vfl and get 2 bogs like McCauliffe

Different players so won’t base it on that. On last weeks game alone he deserves his place in the side. Hopefully he can back it up.

Should have dropped Banks & Lefau, would have allowed us to play McAuliffe & Naismith while also allowing Graham, Dusty & Kosi to come in for Lynch, Balta & Baker.

I’d just select Naismith from the bench - he’s been in great form…takes contested marks, slots goals, very competitive ruck. Gets others involved…creates play

Him and Nank switch between ruck and resting forward

So, our 2 KPF and Baker forward/mid are out.
Dusty IN.
I would have also gone 2 of Ryan, Koscitzke, Naismith. Couldn't really decide which two. Looks like it won't be Ryan.
They might be considering Dusty as a pseudo KPF replacement and so use Graham as the Baker replacement?
Just hope no more from last weeks match are OUT.

With no Ryan in the side I think it’s a must

Don’t want us throwing Pickett in the ruck or expecting Nank to take Marshall on solo
Nank is playing good footy and the last thing we need is us grinding him into the ground again

Agreed, the improvement wasn't just in his disposal count he was nailing tackles like I'd never thought him capable of. The week before he was wet lettuce. Needs to keep showing that willingness to improve and do the tough stuff.
