Bartel (with pending price drop and down scores)
to
Cloke/Stokes(outsider getting good midfield time)/Mayes(Extra cash grab?)

What do you guys think
leaning towards stokes as a POD but also think cloke is back?

I actually like it and am considering the exact same trade of Bartel>Stokes. I do think Jimmy will be solid and be a consistent scorer, but I really like Stokes this year and reckon he'll go close to outscoring Bartel. Getting a similar scorer and making $80k seems quite reasonable.

Was all set to trade Geary but to do so I have to lock both my trades before seeing teams..really dont like having to that so I see no real harm in holding Geary one more week (BE 67), wont drop too much hopefully.

I have plenty coin in the bank. I'm not sure what I should do. Which scenario is the best?

Suban for Pittard
Moloney for Kane Cornes

Or

Swallow for Boak
Suban for Grimes

Or

Viney for Mullet (on the bench)
Suban for Pittard

Which is the best scenario?

No, No reverse trade button after partial lockout.
So if we trade someone like Varcoe to Mayes before partial lockout, we can't reverse it? But we can still do that trade after partial lockout?

I believe so. And I think the ability to reverse trades made after the Round starts is lost as well. So if you waited to tonight to see the teams, then traded Mayes in - you couldn't then swap back if he was injured on Friday...

So we should wait until Friday night just before lockout to do trades because we can't reverse them after partial lockout?

That's my understanding. Because the reverse trades option takes you back to the end of last week, you cannot go back while a round is in progress.

I'm also concerned about the VC loophole on Swan, as I want to keep Crouch this week and trade Viney instead. I know that sounds strange, but I think Crouch will score more consistently and hasn't peaked yet - so I'm prepared to wait a week or two for a further rise. If I use the VC on Swan, then have Crouch on the field as C, I will effectively lose the option of having 'E' on a midfield player if someone is a late out. I'd rather have Crouch on the bench, have the 'E' on Evans/Whitfield, knowing I am covered in the event of a last minute change...

Not sure if I've explained that all too well....

Im trading in Cloke so my first trade has to be done before partial lockout!! All collingwood, essendon, Sydney and st kilda players get locked in at the start of the collingwood vs Essendon

Good point. Yep, if you want a piece of today's action, you need to do it before the partial lockout starts...
