Viney --> Evans
Bartel --> Mayes

I'm not certain I will get rid of Bartel but I've watched every game and I'm just not convinced as to his DT value. Still an absolute champ, and has stepped up when we have needed him, but I don't know if he has that spring in his step, particularly in the easier games.

So he has....alright ALL ABOARD!!! TOOT TOOT!

He's also not really a "rookie". Just a rookie priced player re-elevated.

Here's what I feel like doing:

Moloney -> Cotchin
Mundy -> Watson
JJK -> SJ
Viney -> Evans
random fwd -> Mayes.

Unfortunately I don't have the cash, nor trades, nor contacts to make this happen.

Even sadder.... I think I'm going MORE negative on my Scooter+Whitfield->Mundy&Moloney trade in Round 1........ :mad:

Agree in regards to Bartel, I traded him a few weeks ago as I just don't see him scoring well all year this year

Would help us significantly if he starts kicking to himself when he takes the kick ins.. always named in the guts as well which gets me excited, but then of course ends up drifting around playing anywhere but the middle!

bartel will pull out a big 150 game very soon imo

he is playing in the back pocket a lot of the time, if they play kick to kick he will wrack up the +6. The only problem was the where playing at the SCG this week, and because the SCG is soooooooooo tiny, there is no room for the kick to kick. Will keep him for a few weeks to see if this happens

Oooo that's bad. He's been a great unique for me. ;)

Mayes looking good again. Will probably get aboard this week.

I thought Kerridge did well but it's hard to tell in a game like that - one to watch

May hop on Franklin this week as I expected him to drop more than he currently has with Hawks draw

Hopped on SJ last week so I guess Franklin is the obvious choice

Although I don't have Birchall but surely he will be tagged sooner or later. He is just killing teams and still seems to roam unopposed! Crazy! Probably going to avoid him since he will have this weeks score in his rolling average, I'll just have to hope he has some low rounds by getting tagged I guess

Viney's BE is attainable so not completely worried about trading him yet, although its under consideration

I don't feel Geelong are the type of team to play to kick to kick though
Time will tell
My advice to people looking to trade out bartel this week of the back of his last performance: wait a few weeks, this was his only bad week, and it was at the SCG a notoriously tough ground to score DT points on account of the ground being much smaller.

Especially when there are no certainties in the fwdline this year, i can easily see a bartel trade out back firing.

Im happy to be proved wrong. If I had him I wouldn't be trading him anyway as I fully expect almost everyone to have far more important issues needed fixing than a small price drop from bartel

Can someone please give me some tips? I'm stuck in a right shit hole because I chose $89k players for my bench (besides two).

I'm happy with my team besides:
Viney (182k)
Dwyer (196k)
Bartel who I think will pump a good score out in coming weeks, so I'm happy with him staying.

My only notable players on my bench are Macaffer and Frost.

I have 208,300 in the bank.

Should I get rid of Dwyer and Viney, although I'm not to confident on Swallow (keep or not). Or should I just focus on getting some notable rookies on my bench over this week as I have no injuries incase I get some injured on-field players in future?

Also thinking of swapping Duffield for Hartlett?

Done my 2 trades.

Viney ---> Evans

Moved Gibbs from Defence to Midfield

Kennedy (Swans) ---> Birchall

Picked up an extra $52,300 to have a total of $190,100 in the bank. Beautiful trades :cool:

Karma may get me in the future with Kennedy but with a BE of 126, I don't think he'll get that vs Saints in New Zealand on thursday night.

I need Birchall. And that means goodbye to GAJ. Put Goodes in the midfield, and GAJ out for Birch. Also Karnezis>Mayes.

Now the only issues I need to fix are

R2: Blicavs/Daw > someone who can do better than 30
F6: Neade/Dwyer > Premium/Mid Pricer
M5: Goodes, Moloney, JOM, Crouch in the mids doesn't look to nice, one of the rookies needs to turn into a premium
