Round 5 Trades

Dunno if you know how dreamteam works but the more points you get, the better chance you winning over all ;)

You can keep Viney and be happy with his 18 points this round :D

When exactly did he say that he was going to hold on to Viney? You are mistaken, sir.

Am thinking:

Viney > Mayes/Evans
Moloney > S.Selwood

Or

Viney > Evans
MacCaffer/Neade > SJ

I was thinking of trading Moloney as well but he is playing Melbourne next week, could absolutely destroy it if he gets up against his old club

Early thoughts:

Sam Jacobs -> Buddy
Viney -> Evans

Then next week:
Riewoldt -> SJ
Neade -> Kerridge/Paparone

Then the week after I hope to bring in either Scotland or Grimes or both depending on how well my Port rookies are going.

Currently have about $200,000 in the bank and ranked 380 so sitting pretty I would think.

Lee> Mayes
Martin > Franklin

Hoping the gamble pays off, Hawks play Nth Melb and hoping buddy kicks another bag against them, Mayes on the field as opposed to T. Lee and up against the dees, should be a welcome improvement.

Dusty for Franklin.
I really want Watson but he has an insane BE for this round so will be trading JPK for Scooter.
Come round 6, I should be able to swap Selwood for Watson without coughing up too much dough.

Thinking Evans and Mayes in for Viney and Biclavs. Will leave me almost $250k to play with following week, depending on scores could look at upgrading maybe Moloney or JJK to a Swan or Franklin.

Anyone think it's worth trading Mitch Robinson? Forward premiums are terrible this year. Only players I would consider trading him for are Cloke, Martin and possibly Stokes. Already have Rockliff, Bartel and Kennedy.

Trying to decide who to bring in for Geary.

Thinking I've missed the boat on Hanley, heppell and burger, but maybe hartlett considering his 35 is going to cycle out. Only thing that worries me is that PTA have had their easy run and it can only get harder from here.

Have the same problem, though only have $410k or less to spend. Considering Malceski or trading down to Hutchins and banking the cash.

Id still go Hartlett in your case, spewing I cant afford him.

Unless K Mitchell looks like getting a start think I'll go him to Evans and get the last 10k out of Viney and maybe Currie to Gawn. Going a week early on Gawn but if I cant find a better trade it's worth the try with unlimited trades. That'd leave me Vlastuin as my last rookie who hasn't played.

At this stage

Whitfield > Mayes
Viney > Evans

Which means i'm up to about 420k in the kitty.

I could go
Viney > Mayes
Libba > Super Premium

But i think i'm better of generating cash at this early stage, who knows how many more rookies will get guns.

Ideally i'd like another week otu of Whitfield and Viney but they are my two highest B/E's out of the rookies.

Then with 420k i'll probably go Stevenson/Heath > Birchall next week
And either pick up another cow like Kerridge if needed or go Caff/Neade > ~380 if anyone in that range is tempting but i doubt it. Probably Caff/Neade > Kerridge/Other and then save for anothe rbig upgrade next week, ORRRR then it might be time to pull the trigger on Libba, who knows.

Mitchell is back on the rookies list, he ain't playing anytime soon

I'm thinking:

Viney -> Evans
Stevenson -> Birchall

I'm worried about missing out on cash generation though (Mayes in particular), especially when I still have kommer on the bench. However, Kommer could be back next week so potentially not a huge issue to hold him (but it will mean missing one more price rise).

It would be a huge point boost getting Birchall. It gives me a back 6 of Birchall, Heppell, Gibbs, Goddard, Hartlett and Goodes with Pittard/Terlich on the bench. If nothing else it removes the headache of choosing which one of Pittard/Terlich/Stevenson to field each week. With 151 in his rolling average and a be of 55 he will only get harder to obtain in coming weeks).

With plenty more bubble rookies to come next week (Daw, Gawn, O'hAilpin, Docherty, Kerridge and Paparone) I'm hoping that missing one now won't hurt too much.

I'm thinking next week:

Currie -> Daw/Gawn
Whitfield (or Kommer if not named) -> Kerridge

Of the top of my head probably going to be

B.Kennedy -> Evans (already have Mayes)
Waters -> Birchall if Waters misses or if I have the cash swing Gooodes into the middle and viney -> birchall

Obviously subject to change and there is a non zero chance I fix something else instead

Next week pending

Daw -> Currie fitness pending
Viney/Blicavs -> kerridge/paperone
