How did Houston not win that medal? Best game he's played in yonks. Bursting through contests, marking cleanly, using it well, topping off with a goal, leading disposal winner. He did it all.

Marshall 2nd for mine, absolute break out game for him. Finally starting to kick as he should. Breaking through that weak mentality that has dogged him, but besides that not only is he clunking marks he would've dropped 99/100 times before, he's even clunking ones he would've dropped with 2 hands, with 1 hand!!! Great game Todd. Best game of your career by far.

3rd for me was Drew, just maniac and effective in the middle. I thought he was great.

Liked Rozee, Finlayson, Wines and Hayes as well

The start of the last term had all the hallmarks of the old 'We think we're better than we are' mantra, with the accompanying slack off, but nice to see them finish off hard.

If we can get a roll on with a win next week then we'll have to start recognising the change, but for now, I agree with you. It's only 6 decent quarters of footy that we've played in a row. Need to string 20 more together to get out of this hole.

After business as usual in the first quarter, actually kicking to our forward's advantage fairly often instead of on their head or to a 3 on 1 every time was a nice change. I wonder if that would work against a full AFL team.

Happy to win our home ANZAC round match.
Think the medal for the game could have been raffled.
No problem with Rozee winning it but personally think Marshall was our best.
Also rated Boak, Houston and SPP.

Georgiadis just needs to find his kicking boots. Thought he was our best in the first quarter and he got a reasonable amount of the ball for the game. Sadly he’s not getting the return for his effort.

I’ve never been a huge Farrell fan but I thought his game today was excellent. Got far more involved than I remember pre ACL. One thing you can’t fault is the fact he is a beautiful kick.
Also the stats won’t show it but thought Motlop worked hard today. Took some fairly solid hits along the way too.

Next week against the Saints who are a fast team will show whether today was a false dawn against a woeful opponent or a return to some sort of form.
