I'm bloody rapt with that first half. Tough, hard, defensive football. Pies are a genuine flag chance this year.. very very good side and we have matched it with them. Missing Merrett around the ball.. and the forgotten man in 2MP would be handy to at least occupy Moore.

We are right in the game and can't wait for 2nd half. Hopefully Hobbs is unleashed and we get a bit more run around the ball. We have plenty of improvement left and if we play another 60 minutes like that we are going to go close to winning.

With every quarter we play.. I am more convinced we are finally on the right track. Hard, contested, defensive footy with organisation.. beautiful to watch.

Draper and Phillips need a rocket. They are too focused on getting into attacking positions that Moore is getting off the chain.
Add into that that Kreuger and Framptin are just throwing them around in the ruck. Draper and Phillips need to start throwing it back as the umpires aren't call it.

Moore is basically starting on the resting ruck and peeling off when we go long down the line.
We need to start trying to switch the ball and honor short leads to move Moore away from where we actually want to send it.
