Should go in unchanged pretty much, maybe Ryan.
Barrass might get done, but it was more the weight of a big guy rolling over a little guy in one move, not malice as such.
Curious to see what happens with Sheed...you've definitely got to earn your spot now!

Who would have thought we'd have a dilemma trying to fit Ryan back into the forward line. It is purring along nicely at the moment and while none of Maric, Long, Brockman and Petch are setting the world on fire they are all playing their part.
Petch was poor yesterday but he's been good up till then, Long is smart, Maric is a beautiful kick and Brockman has been getting up the ground to help the defense, a goal or two would help his cause, unfortunately he's probably the one to make way when Ryan is ready.
And then Allen has to fit somewhere eventually.

Surely we have nobody who can be dropped after that. H.Edwards if TB if suspended, Sheed I think theyre trying to incorporate back into the 22 so I think he stays for now. Nobody else did anything wrong, maybe drop one of our tall forwards for Ryan but thats about it
Out: TB, J.Williams/Maric
In: H.Edwards, Ryan

No to Chesser as sub. Keep playing him. No to dropping kids like JWill or Maric coming off a win if we can help it. Just bring Ryan in for Sheed and use as sub. If Barrass out then I guess it’s Hedwards
7 possessions isnt enough for me. I also think he makes a impact as a sub when he does come on too. Its not the worst thing to come on when people are tiring if your primary issue in your game is you struggle early on when the intensity is at its highest.

I think Liam Ryan plays HFF to give Petch more midfield minutes at the expense of Chesser . Chesser to stay as the sub and H.Edwards to fill in for Barass annoyingly enough

IN: Ryan, HEdwards
OUT : Sheed, Barass

If Barrass gets a week I think we just bring Ryan in for him and swing Maric back.

We are a little bit tall up forward (for the right reasons, getting game time into kids), so would help with that.

Gov, Maric, Rotham should be tall enough.

If Barrass avoids suspension it gets harder, Ryan in seems obvious but the out is much less so.

That’s if your primary objective is what you get out of him in a particular game. Best way to get him up to the level is to keep getting games in. He is pretty high impact and in previous weeks decent metres gained for the possessions he gets so I say as development is number one for us right now we keep getting him minutes and build confidence over time

Wrong call, Sheed out & Ryan in. Leave JWill and Maric in as Ryan is versatile enough. Don’t drop kids from a winning team for structure when the primary focus this year is still development

I think they’ll drop Brockman and bring in Sheed. Hopefully not but that’s what it’ll be.

Barrass won’t get suspended imo

Out: Barrass, Sheed

One more week for Ryan in the 2's. Then it probably will be Brockman going if he plays forward. Could be Cole going if he plays back, I would prefer that to losing Brockman. The dream though would be Ryan in Cripps out.

Gold Coast have been running 3 talls in their fwd line: King, Read and Walter. Read and Walter are both first year players, we might get away with Rotham Gov and Maric/Hough/Witho playing on their talls. Might not need a TB replacement if he gets suspended

You don't want Gov to really have to be accountable for a tall, though.

Edwards probably needs one last chance to prove he has a future and he seemed to give a toss during the WAFL debacle yesterday. That's enough for me, bring him in if TB goes.

I dont think he would have to be, if Rotham can sit on King, and Hough/Witho on Walter, Gov can sort of watch the first year ruckman and do what he wants. Walter has been playing right up the ground quite a bit using his athleticism while king sits deep, as long as Rotham isnt left in a 1v1 with King too often I think we would be ok.
Agree probably better off bringing in H.Edwards, but he might not be needed

The Beagles have a bye next week so pretty sure Ryan is straight back in.

Rotham had a decent game but there is no world where he is a good match up on King. He’s giving up nearly 10cm. Even Barrass and Gov have struggled with his height in the past. Would have been a great test for Jamo if he hadn’t died but it has to be Edwards if Barrass gets shafted.

yeah probably, just throwing it out there
TB/Edwards to King
Rotham to Walter
Gov/Hough/Witho to Read
Thats how we probably line it up

Ultimate test this week to see if we have really moved away from the credits mentality.

Sheed should be dropped back to the WAFL until he shows some intensity at the contest. Hopefully senior players building form at AFL level is a thing of the past.

Bring in Ryan for him or debut Johnston.

Don’t mind giving Sheed the Matt Crouch treatment. Has worked for crouch and has come back to his best.

Forgot about the bye. That complicates the Sheed situation.
Feel like Sheed needs to be dropped - he doesnt gel with our sexy new gamestyle of run-and-gun contested possession.

Straight swap him for Ryan as the sub, who we can slot in either forward or back as required.

Arguably bringing Crouch back in has made them worse, their midfield is too slow. The crows midfield isnt exactly a good example to follow.
Even if Sheed is back at his best what does he bring? Hes not a fast player
A couple of games to see if he can find a spot in the team with the game style, if doesnt work then make him depth only imo
