Was TheGrizz actually. I was just letting people know he wouldn't be responding.

Agreed.

They’re not very good but still a level above us right now. This is a game they should be winning.

Previous expensive from us suggests we will be feeling pretty content with ourselves after a good win in our last outing. They won’t be.
Sorry but they haven't been a level above us since pre-saga days. As far as I'm concerned, they're 4% below us and only beat us by 1 point last year.

It's a genuine 50/50 game.

You are familiar with Macca, yes? We cannot dare to predict we could possibly win because then we’ll be putting the online mozz on the team and we’ll definitely lose.

Very familiar lol. But would we have it any other way? Yes. Yes we would.

My post isn't for Macca anyway. It's for the lurking Carlton trolls getting a big head.

Piss off b*tch, we jump on your sight we get barred, be thankful.

Imagine needing to write in the banner head “Blues posters only” so you don’t get your ass handed to you in front of your own cohorts?
Sad stuff really. Almost pathetic

I wandered over to the Carlton board and saw a summary of Teague' press-conference:

* Not a fan of dropping players to make a statement
* Believes fans want us to pick a side to win games
* Have played young players in the past but sometimes you lose that winning culture doing this
* Murphy and Samo adapted well to different roles
* All players in the VFL must string several performances together to be considered for senior selection
* Backing Betts in to kick goals
* Keeps saying they are looking at the bigger picture rather than the right now
* Nobody is guaranteed of a spot in the team. Have to get their job done. If a younger guy is at the same level, they will bring him in

Lmao this is Woosha. Woosha is Carlton's coach. May as well substitute Murphy and Betts with Zaharakis and Baguley. They'll have a shit loss to us (hopefully). Then they'll make wholesale changes the following week due to public pressure and beat Bulldogs.

Can't see them beating the dogs this decade lol

We beat them last year. Not feeling confident next week though.

As for this week, we're turnover merchants at present, insist on randomly bombing into F50, and maintaining a man on man defence without a loose back. Confidence looks shot for us and something just isnt right. You guys should win.

That said, if 45 years of us vs you guys has taught me anything, its that form and ladder position is irrelevant when we play. Don't know why, but when we play it's just always so unpredictable. Could go either way.

The only thing missing was “learnings “
😂

I hope Philips is fit. I’m keen for Bryan to get a run but not as first ruck. There is a big strength difference between him and Pitt at this stage in their careers.

Probably giving Pittonet 15kgs. But what can not be underestimated is the power of that mullet ;).

i have a simple formula
Dons = favourites, tip Carlton
Rain = tip carlton
Carlton missing best 3 players = tip carlton
All else, Dons win.

One thing big nick can do is jump though and has great ruck craft, he should easily get his hand first to the ball at centre bounces.

prediction;
In: Ridley, Bryan
Out: Phillips (inj), TBD*

Ridley BZT Francis
Redman Laverde Hind
Heppell Parish Cox
Perkins Wright Jones
Tippa Hooker Stringer
Bryan McGrath Merrett
Snelling Ham Langford Smith
Guelfi

*Francis out if he doesn't come up, or Zaka & Guelfi unlucky but goes to sub.

Honestly can not pick this one, I've got a fuzzy confidence we'll do ok but I'm more liking Rutten catapulting us into a modern club and our progressivness as an endgame.

If we have to drop it for development purposes it won't be the end of the world but golly gosh a win would be nice (especially against Mr Mercenary Saad and the finger he didnt have to but gave us).

I honestly thought the Blues would be much more competitive than they have been with their acquisitions over the draft/trade period but something is a bit odd down there at the moment and it's also intriguing how much the media are getting into them aswell.

Bombers by 11 points after a bit of comeback from Carlton throwing everything at us...

Also be nice to show some of our learnings to their coaching choices. 🙂
