I’ll say it again, Dew can’t coach.

So far this year he has been out coached by a St Kilda stand in coach in his first ever game and a first year coach at a rebuilding Collingwood.

We have seen junior star talents in Rankine, Luko, 2MP, Brodie, Anderson, Rowell all stagnant in their development. We see rubbish footballers like MacPherson constantly get opportunities and shit recruitment like Atkins signed to multi year deals.

I will give him his first 2 years over cleaning out the list and implementing a plan but we are as bad as we have ever been 5 years into his reign, He has to go

Been an incredibly frustrating game to watch, but there were some highlights. Amoung them, Anderson played his best game I think. Casboult trying his best. Chol getting better. Ainsworth still in career best form. I liked Ellis down back when he was moved there.

Just the mistakes and turnovers and are inability to defend inside 50 is atrocious. We're actually scoring for the first time ever, but it's seemingly come at a significant cost to defend.

Strange selections given the guys we have out of form. Correct those and some of the iffy umpiring calls and we're winning this game. Maybe that's what is so frustrating. It feels like we're close, but it's just not completely clicking.

Coaching problem? Maybe. Hard to defend Dew now with our upcoming stretch.

We were let down today for a lot of reasons.

Player selection is the main one. We have a pretty healthy list and a VFL team playing ok. But I don’t think too many of those play, but 2-3 changes could be made quite easily over some we played today.

Playing players out of position to squeeze them in the team is also hurting overall.

Still, we lack pace and polish across the ground. Our defence has improved it’s speed and kicking, but lost our ability to defend! We score more goals. But leak more too.

Last season, we kick 84 points and we win so many more games. This season we bleed points so our scoring doesn’t matter. I don’t get it.

If so Dew should have a Nuclear bomb under him.
I reckon we would be a 4 to 5 goal better team with a decent coach.

Big difference is daicos x2, Sidebottom, quaynor all ran off and looked amazing while our defenders/wingers added no run, when they are capable of doing it.

most annoying thing is the pies are a rebuilding team fresh new talent after having one rotten year. plenty of speed youth over the ground, than you look at our team ..... just a muh team with a muh list with a muh coach
