Nick wins the medal.Durham is going very well and is a certainty to pick up Jordy.
Jordy is up and about breathing fire again so Durham will have his hands full.
Who then stops Nick?

17 clubs in the league would be grateful to see Elliott start as sub.Steele was sub a few weeks ago.
I reckon put Elliot the sub. He's getting old now and a banged up body, will do him good to have an easier week.
The one area of Bobby’s game that has dropped off since the premership is his chasing and defensive pressureI don't think I've ever seen a player be so intent on giving others glory, he even chose reef and Schultz specifically, to help get them in the game
The Essendon fans are saying Durham will double tag JDG and Nick in to submissionLots of nice suggestions, but hard to see us winning and it not being a JDG or daicos anzac medal incoming
Jordy said the same; two days off and Tuesday training.
They’re just off an extended break and Wade will be managing them perfectly.
Would love to see Pendles or Sidey turn it on and win an Anzac Medal.
Averaging 0.1 more tackles I50 this season than last, but 1 less tackle overall and 1 less pressure act. Pretty marginalThe one area of Bobby’s game that has dropped off since the premership is his chasing and defensive pressure
Offensively he is elite
They don’t have a single mid over 185cm - we have JDG 189cm and Crisp 190cm, Pendles 191cm.The Essendon fans are saying Durham will double tag JDG and Nick in to submission
Oh, there’s an article about Parrish’s poor form this season?
F**king awesome
Can’t wait for Parrish to have 63 possessions on Thursday
He's a stat padder with little influence on the actual result.
Think Essendon are on the rise, and this game will be tight.
We will need to bring the same levels of pressure as last week against PA (except for first quarter!!) to win.
Wright is available for selection for them.
Their defence is not like PA's (they are better at ground level) so we can't adopt exactly the same ideas as last week (a super small forward line).
In the contemporary game, pressure is increasingly the decisive factor.
Pressure depends on two things: physical energy, and structure. The necessity to be at the contest itself, but also to have manned up the potential opposition escape routes at the contest.
In the first quarter against PA, we were way out of balance. That was rectified after the first quarter.
Bring the same synergy against Essendon, and we will win.
Not sure what our forward line will look like.
Essendon will be fully prepared for WHE playing forward.
Do we need to rest a veteran, in line with our evident plan to keep them fit and healthy for the entire season?
I think Pendles will stay in, his "rest" was the last quarter when he was subbed off (he is a genius of AFL football)
Mitchell will need to stay in as well. He is a powerhouse in the midfield atm, and I am very concerned that we haven't yet found the means to alleviate his load. Atm, this is our Achilles tendon, and it is the reason why we have to get games into Sullivan, Fin etc.
Was rapt with Cox's performance against PA. He was brilliant at ground level, and even recaptured elements of his 2018 Prelim performance against richmond.
Parish usually does alright playing usThey don’t have a single mid over 185cm - we have JDG 189cm and Crisp 190cm, Pendles 191cm.
I don’t see us getting monstered in the midfield.
Indeed. Won the medal a couple years ago..Parish usually does alright playing us
Though if any game is going to spur a player on it would be this one.Indeed. Won the medal a couple years ago..
But he isn't exactly in the best form atm
Not sure. May have the tank, but depends on the player, you wouldn't want it to be someone that has pace and can run off him.Probably get laughed down but thinking if at times we need a shut down player/tagger, could someone like Shoota be that player?
Has the tank, defensive and can slide forward to score.
True. I was comparing to the likes of Dutchy and Piggy. Think Dutchy had a bit of leg speed but think Levi wasn’t too quick. Could be wrong. Not sure. May have the tank, but depends on the player, you wouldn't want it to be someone that has pace and can run off him.
I dont think he is that fast.
I don't know about playing as a strict tagger, as that doesn't seem to be our style, but I think Sarge would be a really interesting option as a defensive midfielder to counter the attacking nature of De Goey and Daicos. Sarge is a better ball hunter than someone like McCreery, who I've also thought about in this kind of roleProbably get laughed down but thinking if at times we need a shut down player/tagger, could someone like Shoota be that player?
