Too Sweet
Let’s say Keays didn’t fumble, he got a handball away and was held on to, what happens? Free or no free?
If he doesn't fumble he kicks the goal.

No free.... No frees in front of goal at the cattery against the Cats.... Must be in the fine print.Let’s say Keays didn’t fumble, he got a handball away and was held on to, what happens? Free or no free?
Yes he does **** up.I don't 'hate' him- but he constantly *s up at important times by failing to do the basic and trying to do things reserved for the elite.
He had the ball, he fumbled, he failed to execute, we didn't score, we lost.
The idea that we should focus on the umpires rather than ever being accountable for our own * ups is the precise wrong approach.
And 2 of those handballs missed their target by metres that killed a momentum chain each time as he was breaking clear of congestion..matt crouch had the most matt crouch statline i've ever seen.
12 touches, 2 kicks, 10 handballs, 2 tackles -16 meters gained. never the sort of player who should be a sub.

Agree , I hate players dropping the ball to play for the free but that’s not what happenedA rule is a rule though. You’re just not allowed to hold a player let alone for so long, doesn’t matter what happened earlier.
He should have but that’s not the question. You are not allowed to keep holding on to a player if they pick it up, dispose of it or if they fumble it. The rule doesn’t differentiate. If he doesn't fumble he kicks the goal.

That result is pretty reflective of where we're at, I reckon. We're a decent side, plucky, up-and-coming, but still a level off the top sides.
When key moments came up, Geelong made them count. We didn't. That's the difference.
They probably should have gone with Groundhog Day instead.
Surely that would require our talls to make a contest? It's frustrating having Rankine, Rachele, Pedlar and Murphy up forward but we can never get a crumb from a contest in our forward line.
Yep, Ben's really the victim here.
We should buy him a present.
You and I do that every season with our membership money. Maybe if they read your advice about handing back our license then we wouldn’t have to buy him a present every season.Yep, Ben's really the victim here.

Why bother with umpiring decisions? no-one knows what the rules are anymore. You can’t hold on to a player without the ball
It’s paid a lot actuallySo bleating about a free kick that is never, ever paid
I've watched it againWatch. It. Again.
If a player kicks or handballs and then gets held, then yesIt’s paid a lot actually
My eyes aren't much chop tonight Where's the bit about rewarding guys who drop it?You can’t hold on to a player without the ballView attachment 1679964
That’s irrelevantMy eyes aren't much chop tonight Where's the bit about rewarding guys who drop it?
How long can the player hold for?If a player kicks or handballs and then gets held, then yes
If a player never has the ball and gets held, then yes
If the player has the ball and gets tackled legally it isn't
He doesn’t drop the ball.I've watched it again
It's not a free kick in a million years. No one would ever get a free kick for that. You blokes are absolutely kidding yourselves
