This could get very ugly. Concerned norf will be more ruthless than the swans. Joe needs a bag in the vfl for his own sanity and confidence more than anything else.
In Jamar, Edwards, Parish, Langford, Jerrett
Out Joe, Crowley, Simpkin(inj), Dea, Polkinghorne
12 weeks till we get our 12 back, 2017 can't come around quick enough.
Norf by 97.

I don't think 2017 will be any better. We're still going to have half a team trying to get used to a new half. Plus, players that aren't match fit. I think 2018 is the best we can hope for.

In the meantime, in this thread, how about we just talk about this week's game?

The existing team will have the game plan down pat by the end of the season. Hopefully players such as Francis, Eades, Morgan, Long and others will get a run to have a good look at them in the firsts. And Laverde will be back with more games under his belt. Add in 2 draft picks in the top 20.

The 12 ousted players have already spent a couple of months with Worsfold pre CAS decision. And they will have a well planned full pre-season in 2017.

As long at they have a reasonable fitness base, I think 2017 is the season. There are players in the 12 that carried niggles such as Myers shoulder, Hocking leg, Hurley wrists, Jobe groin, Belchambers leg, .... etc etc ..... time off can only help repair those issues and lengthen their careers. Many of them looked spent (mentally and physically) mid 2015 onwards.

Out: Redman, Polkinghorne, Simpkin
Would leave Redman in. He is a star in the making. He laid 6 ferocious tackles (2nd to Zach Merrett) and improved his possessions as the game went on. He had nobody up forward to kick to on 3-4 occasions and was forced to handball sideways. His best asset is his aggression, long and accurate kicking and running. Apart from the tackling, he didn't get a chance to show his ability.

yeah, just let eth do it.
I don't mind other people doing it, just would like to see a lot more than a 5 line OP with poor grammar.

A bit of effort in the preview would be nice. Don't even know why I bother.
We've been through this. People want to talk about the next game straight after the last game and we're not going to stop them because you haven't got your preview ready to go. It's just the way it is unfortunately. If you had the preview ready beforehand we could do similar to what we do with Velvets gameday threads.

What do you mean by that?
