So he should be in the VFL, apart from last week his other matches have been just ok, if he produces more like the Geelong game he will get a recall.

Dunno about that - he has done a reasonable job on his opposite number in his matches in defense so far this year. Not high possessions, not many marks, but reasonable shutting down

That's what I was thinking, they have heaps of big outs too. Wells and Higgins have been their heartbeat this year.

Wells has been important. Higgins has been down on last year and I can think of at least 8 players playing today who have had significantly more impact for us so far this year. That said if any of our players think this is a fait accompli and take it a bit easy then this will be a very tight game. Essendon are a quarter away from being capable of beating teams regularly.

However despite missing up to 6 best 22 players North should be confident of victory.
