Fremantle is investigating strange behaviour by injured player Harley Bennell at a Peel Thunder WAFL match

FREMANTLE is investigating the behaviour of Harley Bennell at a WAFL game on Saturday afternoon, reports 7 News Perth.

The Dockers are in the process of speaking with those in attendance after Bennell acted strangely while watching Peel Thunder’s clash with Swan Districts in Mandurah.

Footage showed Bennell chatting with his cousin Traye Bennell at quarter time and three quarter time, interrupting an address from Thunder coaching staff in the process.

Bennell then left the ground and was spoken to by Dockers assistant coach Roger Hayden.

Fremantle said it was in the process of speaking to relevant parties and then once that was completed, would be in a position to comment further.
