And under my preferred system, Stewart would be missing this game as carry over from that suspension. I've always been an advocate for one game of your suspension to carry over to next time you play the team you committed the offence against.
He’d be retired by time he was not suspended against us. How would we boo? 🫤

Dimma confirmed in his presser that Soldo will miss with his foot (Plantar fasciitis) and Cumberland will go back to the VFL for a few weeks. Also said Cotch will return. Didn't sound like Young will play, despite being fit again. He also mentioned Gibcus has had some "awareness" in his hamstring so won't be playing VFL this week, which is disappointing.

With all that in mind, I think it will only be the one change tonight. Cumbo out for Cotch.

Shocked you managed to make any of that out. Had absolutely no idea who they were talking about half the time with the reporters' mics on mute.

Well said Dion

"I know that’s not in his demeanour at all [but] honestly, I thought he should have got more," he said.

We have the Richmond Tax and they have the Geelong Discount.

No, it works like this. He got 4 weeks right so he serves three straight up and game number 4 would be the next time he is due to play Richmond. it's the player not the club so if they change clubs it goes with them to the other club.

We have 1 natural forward in the line up in Riewoldt, and literally 0 mobile forwards. Dimma says in presser we need good pressure up the ground and run out with a forward mix of cotchin, prestia, riewoldt, martin.

I watched last years game against geelong yesterday and we had both clarke and mrj in the side and we looked like a dynamic and much better balanced side

Hard to come up with much of a better team I reckon.
Young & Sonsie need to get a bit of match fitness in the reserves.
Cumbo had a quiet few quarters now - possibly there is a plan of things for him to work on in the reserves?
Judson - fair enough for a bit of a rest.
Bauer? Been playing him back and I don't see who he displaces this week. But could possibly play forward.
Banks - no rush, will get a shot at some stage.

Who else is available?

Good luck guys, think our VFL side should do alright against your mob, Cats by 37 in a tight struggle. Stewart BOG.
