If we play like the first half against West Coast, then we will probably lose this one by a lot.

I think the midfield we’ll likely name (i.e. Prestia, Cotchin, Taranto, Graham, Ross, Hopper) is going to be too slow against Geelong given our footskills at the moment. West Coast was as slow as us, which is why it sometimes looked like the game was played in slow motion lol. But that’s not going to cut it against Geelong. Ross or Graham need to go if Cotchin comes in IMO.

I want to see us try Banks in for Clarke. Banks is not blistering fast, but he’s got pretty decent footskills. Something our side desperately needs.

OUT: Cumberland, Graham/Ross, Clarke
IN: Cotchin, Banks, Dow (maybe)

If Cotchin doesn’t come in, then both Graham and Ross can stay I guess even though we’d still be really slow in the midfield.

They'll be missing Dangerfield, Close and potentially Guthrie. Our midfield should get on top in this game but as you said we need to add more speed. Prestia/Hopper/Taranto are flat footed mids.

I hate this mob with a passion.
I hope we can put it altogether on Friday night and blow them out of the water.
Really don’t care if we don’t win another game. As long as we beat Geelong. Lol

But what if we play like the second half and what happens if Geelong come out and have a shocker. Why do Richmond fans always concentrate on the negative.

Well there is the fact that we only won 2 games from 8 rounds. Safe to say that this season is more negative than positive right now, which is why we’re focusing more on the negative.

I cant see us getting within 7 goals of this mob. Our last 2 weeks have been very average.

I thought we would be ok after the Melbourne game, we played pretty well that night. Not sure the players minds on have been in the game since.

Unfortunately I believe this as well. Hopefully we are wrong and it doesn’t get to ugly.

I’ll be very disappointed if we get thumped this week … Cats will have 7-8 of their best 22 out plus a couple more depth players: Danger, Guthrie, DeKoning, Stengle, Rohan, Stanley, Close, Menegola, Henry and Bowes.

Including Selwood that’s 9 of their flag team unavailable. Some quality has replaced them, but there are some spuds and some youngsters: Ceglar, Knevitt, Bruhn, Dempsey and Simpson.

They are playing much better footy than us, but we will not get them at a better time in 2023. If we can’t be at least highly competitive then we are miles off being a decent team.
