Why on earth would we run out on the 'G tonight expecting to lose against Geelol?

Look at them:




They've got three genuinely elite players (who show it 15-16 games a year and certainly not always together), then a cliff.

Nothing players we'd be filthy about having - or in numerous cases, still having - on our list, smeared across every single line.

Which one of their protected, cheating 'champions' haven't we contained or outright smashed before, with much the same personnel we'll have tonight?

Midfield is where it will be won - sure we're light on in the ruck, but which one or more of Taranto, Meatball, Hopper or Dusty would you like to swap out for Holmes, Atkins, Duncan, Knevitt, Bruhn etc.?

Break even or better in the middle, play 80% as well as we can with our ball use and we will win comfortably tonight. Then suddenly be getting talked about as one of the form sides of the comp after we absolutely decimate the Druggo's on the Dreamtime stage.

We have no foward line and their defence is pretty strong compared to our fowards
They have a potent foward line with Hawkins , Cameron , Henry and our defence has been suspect against big fowards

Lynch is the main difference IMO

Yep, we’re not that bad. Our main problem is that final kick inside 50, if we can clean that up and actually kick goals we’ll start winning more than we lose.
