HRS had the nice find to dusty but plays way too timid otherwise. Makes Short and Bachar Houli look like Steven Morris.

I think he is the leading candidate to be subbed unless DRioli is cooked.

Mansell has been good. Really good. Even without the goals.

Hmmm let's not fool ourselves, we are playing half a Geelong side here. We make so many dumb decisions, it's frustrating but you can't knock their effort.
I'd want to unleash on a few players but I won't, team confidence is at an all time low and it is showing.
I’d say we’re going okay. Not great but not horrible. They’re 6th on the ladder and we’re 15th. They should be waking all over us regardless of their outs.
Back in our prime premiership years, it would never have phased us to play a 15th ranked side when we were missing Rance, Riewoldt, Rioli and Prestia

True, but how much would it do for our confidence if we still won? Yeah this is the weakest Geelong side we’ve seen this year, but it’s still Geelong, it would hopefully help with their confidence if they won.

They're still playing Stewart, Ratugolea, Miers, Stewart, Cameron and Hawkins who have been their 6 best players this year.

The hit outs are even with Ryan 13 Ceglar 16
Its our midfielders that are not reading the taps from both Ruckman and Geelong are playing through Ceglar more than we do with Ryan

Our midfield really is not taking advantage of this opportunity to dominate against 2nd rate players
It’s almost like our mids only get if the ball drops right near them, otherwise they are slow or misread it

And who r our outs a couple of handy big strong players bookends and a ruck

I think that today’s game solidifies that our biggest issue is with coaching. It’s bad because the amount of times I see players not know what to do next with the ball this year is astounding. They’re not playing to a good system like in the premiership years.

When we have a good passage, it’s just a series of random ball movement rather than the system doing its thing.

It’s either that or we have too many uncoachable players. Man, I’m starting to appreciate the role players we had that sacrificed their game to play in a good system because I now get why that was so important.

We may win today, but we still need to address this.
