In quick ball movement. I love Impey but I don’t want to see him racking up 13 disposal in the first quarter again. We can’t keep over-possessing the ball in the back half.

He has to if there is nobody giving him an option

Pretty easy for me...

Shiels - Jags
Shiels has been terrible and is more done than anyone after a second helping at Christmas dinner and flat out on the couch with 6 beers down.
D.o.n.e

Moore - Brockman
Plain and simple... Moore just hasn’t made the most of his opportunities. Love what his best can be but he is no where near it at the moment. I think he is another that needs to be let play as he will always run defensively.

Jekka - Gunston
Someone has to make way and Roy has had a look at what is required.

Phillips - TOB
We are a shambles without TO providing a target over and over again at CHF regardless of him marking it or not, he straightens up the structure.

Hardwick Hartigan Hartley
Impey Frost Gunston
Morrison Scrimshaw CJ
Jags TO Wingard
Kosi Lewis Breust

BB Worpell Mitchell

Howe Cousins Hanrahan Brockman

Hopefully O'Meara and Gunston are available for selection.

I'm not sure we're the team to pull off three key forwards at the moment. I'd swap one for Brockman. I know he's lacking consistency at this stage of his career, but so is most of the team. So roll the dice on class. What that means for the 30% of the game that Lewis rucks, I'm not sure.

I've been keeping a bit of an eye on North. We're going to have to play to beat them. They're not that much worse than us. We're going to have to execute better than we have the last two weeks to get the four points. Scoring < 10 goals isn't going to get it done.

We need to solve the mushmouth midfield disposal problem. Or just draft the three most elite users at years end?

And a Saturday game! Hallelujah!

North are going to beat us.

probably, cupboard is bare at BHH except for an impact player like Brockman who can add pressure as a small forward and kick a goal or 2

coming to the realisation we are a bottom 4 team and if we lose this one we could potentially win a wooden spoon, which would ruin Christmas.

He’s cooked.

he was cooked 4 years ago, he's extra crispy now, i started getting into u18 footy because it was too painful watching us be crap since 2017 and being yelled at every time i said we should plan for the future, but now im depressed watching my beloved hawks play, at least a few goals gives me small moments of happiness and the fact we are finally going to the draft, the way we treat list management for the last 6 or so years has been so crappy no wonder we are now dealing with the situation of barely having a good enough 22 playing for Hawthorn and not much else at BHH.

He started to slow down early last year. Sadly there aren’t too many options in the reserves at the moment. However I would like to see Bramble given a go when he comes back from injury.

Kingy must be loving this

Even if we don’t win again this year I doubt we would. I don’t think North will win 3 games

you did see Adelaide last year after they blooded a bunch of youngsters, they came back with a vengeance, the Roos are doing a similar strategy and could get a similar result? you never know?

im just hoping we do win a few more to end the year at least.

Of course it’s possible but they really are bad. I do think we will win a couple more once we get some players back. But hard to see us getting out of bottom 4

In: JOM, C Downie, J Gunston, S Burgoyne, TBrockman, TObrien
Out: Jeka, Hartigan, Hartley, Shiels, Moore, Phillips
You could not possibly give Downie a game on form. You’d be undermining everything every other player is told about earning their spot.

It's really hurting us having three good ball users Sicily,Day,Gunners out of this team at once. Day,Dgb our two highest picks in 10 years injured is not ideal.

I called for Jeka inclusion the poor guy had a tough start let him get some form back in the 2s he will be back.

Brockman,Greaves,Downie, are probably the only guys I would consider. Downie is not knocking the door down, but he has the quality's we lack.

I think we should too, but these losses do compound after a while and before you know it, the whole group has lost its mojo.***

*** pretty sure we’re already seeing this in part.

Out... Tom Mitchell.

Or at least out of the centre. I'm sorry but just cause he gets high possession numbers, doesn't make for a good game. 10 kicks and 31 handballs, 272 metres gained, with the majority of ball gained in the back half is dreadful. He has been like this for a while now. Fear that when Omeara comes back in, Worpel gets pushed out.

I hate how his first instinct is to turn around/look back. Never goes Fwd. Its so hard to watch.

Not only that, but has little impact on the scoreboard. This years goal tally is 1.1. Last year it was 2.1. For a guy that gets a lot of the ball, that is shocking.
