North are just irrepressible, have been all season, just a frontal pressure force of nature.

That’s ridiculous and our marking is ****ing awful
100 percent believe the glare and depth perception issues caused by those new LED lights at Norwood play a part, they just can’t replicate it training by Car Headlights/construction building lights at West Lakes or get used to them by just playing games there.

Saw it just recently at the Women’s T20 World Cup too with all the drop catches as they weren’t used to the lights at the stadiums, that having an impact plus pressure = drops.

North don’t seem to be having issues though.

You can have a go at the goalkicking but if you allow Garner & Riddell to run around like unregistered dogs all game you deserve to lose 100 percent of the time, in fact you deserve a heavy defeat.

North are hard and fast, they pick the ball up far cleaner and dispose of it far quicker, makes our girls look amateur in comparison. They should take the whole thing out easily this year.

Clarke's time in charge should be up for debate. Going with no forward line is just stupid and it's losing us games.
I don’t think there’s any question. He lost me after we won the first half of 22, then he said when asked what would we do differently, he said we didn’t need to change anything and it was like… we became the hunted. Other teams around us improved in skills and fitness while we basically stayed the same.

Matthew Clarke’s ‘play our way and hope for the best’ gameplan again looking like failing dramatically like it has in the previous 2 seasons around this time of year.
We don't have the talent to really do anything else.

We are good enough to beat 16 other sides, just not this one.

We're showing that we can match it with North in terms of generating scoring opportunities. But North convert theirs more often than not. For all of the play we've had, we've still only actually converted two goals. And many of those behinds are from set shots or plays that should be converted - Ponter hitting the post, Gould's set shot, Randall's checkside.

Convert those and we're with North. Miss them, and we're where we are.

Not questioning the lack of talent especially forward of the ball.

But part of that does lie with Clarke (and Harper) who have kept dud ‘good club-women’ players far too long on the list and have never gone after any forwards to replace Phillips and Scheer.

We're kind of limited with the draft in that regard. All the better forwards get stolen by the mob down the road.

A fully national draft without the ability to pick your state is the answer, although I get why we have to have it
