Re: Round 9 trades

16 trades left, 126k in the bank.

Was thinking Hunt ---> Webberley and then Martin ---> Judd.

Anything else I should do instead?
Very solid team with still 16 trades left :thumbsu:

That trade looks the goods if you're happy to pay top dollar for Judd (which is probably worth every cent)..he may not get cheaper haha.

Interesting thing i've noticed with your team, you don't really have a place for ROK who will be damn cheap in a few weeks.

Re: Round 9 trades

Martin out Stevenson in
Medders out Boomer in
Leaves my team looking like this

Hodge, Goddard, Enright, Shaw, Newman, Malceski, Goose - Davis, Roberton
Ablett, Montagna, Selwood, Gibbs, Mitchell, Barlow - Stevenson, Shuey
Sandilands, Nic Nat - Lobbe, Shae
Brown, O'keefe, Boomer, Stevie J, Franklin, Higgins, Fyfe - Rockliff, RELTON!!!!!

Will be bringing in Goodes next week to finish off the forwardline.

Re: Round 9 trades

Had just $900 to spare in order to make the two trades i've been waiting to do for weeks :)

Medhurst > Harvey
Martin > Higgins

Taken out 2 players averaging 70 for two averaging just below 100. Should give me 60+ points per game for the remainder of the year. I've now also enabled the MPP option which should hold me in good stead come finals time.

Def: Hodge, Goddard, Gilbee, Malceski, Enright, Shaw, Maguire
Mid: Ablett, Judd, Pendlebury, Dal Santo, Higgins, Barlow
Ruck: Sandilands, Hille
Fwd: Chapman, Pavlich, Brown, ROK, Harvey, Franklins, Podsiadily

8 trades left, only 3 players that i'd like to upgrade but still could become potential keepers.

This is all assuming nothing changes selection-wise next round ;)

Cheers. :D

I guess I could just hold on this week, and just pick up Webberley before he goes up. My main worry is my rucks still, very up and down. But just as I'm about to trade them, they rip a decent game out of their asses (Natanui last week, and Hille this week), so guess I can sit tight there. Though that Juddy is mighty tempting haha, also has a decent run of games coming up too.

I hope I can fit ROK someone in my forward line, but I can't see it too . I might just pick him up for the sake of his price being bargain cheap, and rotate a few guys off the bench until someone looks like they need to be shafted :p

Pretty much down to Hille ---> Cox, Martin ---> Judd or nothing for me. Suspect I'll end up going Martin ---> Judd, since Hille and Cox have good breakevens considering their respective prices. Hille also comes up against the scary Tigers ruckmen this week :p

Here's where i'm at, thoughts? Only 10 trades left and 2 to be used in 2 weeks so effectively 8

Waters, Schmidt (Nason, Silvagni)
Complete (Howlett, Shuey)
Hille (Lobbe)
Hall, Pods (Gumby, Hitchcock)

My plan is Nason/Silvagni to Webberely/Roberton this week.

Wait for Schmidt to mature and Heater to bottom out then bring him in then.

Or Hille->Cox

Personally I'd just stick with your plan, which looks pretty good at the moment. Hille will probably be a safer bet than Schmidt to score consistently, and also has the potential to get some decent scores too.

Re: Round 9 trades

Unfortunately, that will break one of my rules....

No more than 2 from regular teams and 3 from great teams..

Have Chapman and Enright and will eventually get Ablett (or Bartel)...

Yes, they can be considered stupid rules, but I set them...LOL

You do realise, that they will continue to score points regardless if they are in your team are not yes?

Ablett will score his 150's consistently regardless if he is in your team or not. Might as well have him

LOL - yes, I might wait until it's the tail of his 100 score, before I get Ablett.... I left a spot for him...

Hille just scored 100+, however every week it's like Russian Roulette with Hille being reported..

Ablett, Montagna, Selwood, Gibbs, Mitchell, Barlow - Stevenson, Shuey

Nice, except Relton....

My team:

B - Complete [Hams, Roberton]
M - Bastinac, Martin [Stevenson, Banfield]
R - Complete [Warnock, Roughhead]
F - Hitchcock [Rockliff, P.Davis]

Banfield > Armstrong and do I upgrade:

M - Martin > $553K Mid
F - Rockliff > Higgins

If I want Rockliff > Franklin, then it has to be Martin > $83K [and not Banfield > Armstrong] One thing about Higgins is I'm paranoid about his injuries (and I've got Chapman too)...LOL....This is so complicated....ROFL...It's bad as I was thinking of my trades while at work...ROFL

Re: Round 9 trades

Looking at 2 trades this week.

Silvagni > Webberley

Martin > Mid under $504600 > McDonald (ave 106), Cooney (100), J McVeigh (100), K Cornes (100), Carrazzo (MPP def, 98), Didak (MPP fwd 98), Goodes (MPP fwd 82).

Current Forwardline >

Ablett, Selwood, Gibbs, Delideo, Barlow,.......(Stevenson, Shuey).

Thoughts please gentlemen.

Re: Round 9 trades

Weak as piss!!!!!!

Ha! Ha! Yeah I know, whatever was I thinking by not trading? :p

Nason > Webberly

Martin > Dal Santo

Midfield will then be -

Ablett, Swan, Montagna, Judd, Dal Santo, Barlow :D:thumbsu:

* Now that's a midfield to make you want to jizz in your pants.

Re: Round 9 trades

Thoughts on a sideways trade from Ballantyne to Podsially? Might be worth it if Pods is considered a keeper now as would save a trade....Ballantyne is looking too inconsistent for an F7

Pleasure to have the same midfield Mate! :thumbsu: :D:D:D

Re: Round 9 trades

Going to trade out Hunt for a cow now to upgrade Murphy. However not sure which move to do.

Hunt --->Sheppard, R. Murphy-----> Goodes/Higgins

OR

Hunt----> Webberley, R. Murphy ----->Didak/Grundy (or Goodes/Higgins).

Webberley/Sheppard will be on my bench so they won't effect my scores however I'd like good cover down back (although I'd still have Silvagni as cover). Worried about Goodes/Higgins scores. I'd like to get Didak in as he's playing in a kickass side and is more consistent than Higgins/Goodes however Webberley does worry me a bit with his job security/low scores.

lol, you should give people some warning before you flash a midfield like that around JM... bloody nice!

Ha! Ha! Thanks mate. :D:thumbsu:

Yeah it is a pretty nice midfield hey? My rucks are Sandilands and Cox so I am really happy with the middle of the ground. ;)

Just really need 2-3 more upgrades and I'm done. Gumby/Fyfe/Hitchcock to be upgraded later on to a gun, possibly Riewoldt when he comes back.

Waters/Maguire to be upgraded to Hurn and someone else. I reckon both could be good to keep as 6th and 7th defenders though. Upgrading one of them to Hurn would be a luxury trade later on in the season.

B - Goddard, Enright, Hodge, H.Shaw, Malcheski, Waters, Maguire (Webberly, Roberton)

C - Ablett (c), Swan, Montagna, Judd, Dal Santo, Barlow (Shuey, JKT)

R - Sandilands, Cox (Warnock, Lobbe)

F - Pavlich, O'Keefe, J.Brown, Chapman, Franlklin, Podsiadly, Fyfe (Gumbleton, Hitchcock)

Re: Round 9 trades

im gona go with:

duncan > armstrong
+
martin > hayes

then next week:

tippet > goodes/davis/sylvia

or could go judd instead of hayes and then keep tippet, but its bloody tippet, hes awful, have to trade him surely? thoughts anyone?

Re: Round 9 trades

Can i share? :p

DEF: Goddard,Hodge,Enright,Malceski,Carazzo,Kennelly,Maguire (Hunt,Nason)

Mid: Judd_Magic sumed it up perfectly :p :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Rucks: Sandi, Hille

Forwards: O'keefe,Pav,Brown,Harvey,Hall,Pods,Fyfe/gumbleton/rockcliff (Big gamble each week :p)

1,300 weekly ranking this week with a 2454 :)

Look to be in a good posi with a really nice team, you even found enough trades to get 2 Franklins!... just hope for your sake you can stay injury free with your aggressive trading

Whoops. The first Franklin was meant to be J.Brown. LOL! :p

Yeah my aggressive "I love to trade" motto builds a team of premiums quickly for sure.

Time to pray to the SC gods for no injuries. :thumbsu:

Now I am definitely NOT GOING TO TRADE FOR A LONG, LONG TIME! :D

Re: Round 9 trades

Martin to Swan or Montagna?
Any advice?

Montagna a better user of the ball IMO. But Swan can find a lot of the pill. Flip a coin for me! lol They should both have a great avg for the year. Perhaps Montagna, but only just.

Didak or J.Brown?

J.Brown would mean i could straight swap Martin to Goodes in the midfield next week. Would have to rely on Goodes dropping another 9k or Martian gaining that amount for a straight swap if i choose Didak. Thoughts?

Re: Round 9 trades

9 trades left. Downed Martin to Armstrong. With Shuey other emergency, am playing with fire.

Went ballantyne to o'keefe. at 468k...will be as low as he goes. will get buddy for gumbo next week and that will give me a kick arse forward line.

Future gets:

out: Maguire/Schmidt in: Grundy and Carrazzo
out: Hille in :Cox
out: gumbleton in: buddy
out: boyd in: swan/montagna

wont make it as will need to downgrade each time and that = 10 trades :(

oh well boyd stays.

Backs: Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Enright, Shaw, Maguire, Schmidt (Nason, Robertson)
Mids: Ablett, Barlow, Selwood, Bartel, Boyd, Judd (Armstrong, Shuey)
Rucks: Sandilands, Hille (Warnock, Grimley)
Forwards: Chapman, Pavlich, Brown, O'Keefe, Goodes, Podsiadly, Gumbleton (Rockliff, Hitchcock)

Bolded to be removed. Adding Grundy, Carrazzo, Swan, Cox and Franklin/Didak/Harvey will make me happier.

Re: Round 9 trades

Team is

Rucks: sandi, kruezer

Fwd: pavlich, brown, okeefe, hall, franklin, pods, fyfe (hughes, roberts)
