I only remembered about it at three-quarter time. Loved how they kept going on about the Cornes boys being better at backyard footy than the Burgoynes. And awarding the Dyer medal to Westhoff just after the premiership medals was a great idea.

They were brilliant today. Their lack of information on the players made it absolutely hillarious listening. I loved it when they said the Power should change their name to the Dick Heads

And yes, when they announced Thompson had changed his name to Johnson half way through the second quarter. It made a very boring contest a very enjoyable experience. Well done Roy & HG

BTW .. Who won the Dyer Medal? And for those who don't know, the Dyer Medal is awarded each year by Roy & HG to the player who contributes less than any other in the Grand Final. Barry Hall won it in 2006

I can't believe most of you like listening to these two commentate?

Had it playing at work today, and had to change to 720 AM, its the most annoying sounding commentating i've ever heard... even more so than the 'special comments' asswipe on 720.

I can't explain it, but its just terrible. Nothing against them, but they just shit me.

You don't just listen to Roy & HG, you have to be watching the game as well. If you are relying on a commentary to tell you what is going on, then Roy & HG are not for you. Personally, if I can see what's going on, I can work it out for myself, I don't need commentators trying to impress me with their football knowledge.

guys just so you know hg is originally from adelaide and does know alot about footy. But do have to agree the competary while funny is always better with rugby
