On the Greg Lynn committal proceedings Crown Prosecutor Mr Dickie said 'It is clear hopefully from the document, and if it's not clear from the document it's clear hopefully from the charges put before the court, that it is alleged of course that the accused acted with murderous intent when he allegedly killed the two victims.'

The plates might be fake but the Caroline Springs bit has me a tad wary. The press always gets ages wrong.
He may never have actually lived at Caroline Springs either. It could be a relative's place that he uses as a postal/legal address while he spends his time elsewhere, like the high country. Seems really, really dumb of him to stay in the area.

Mind you, rego plate could be a fake and someone in the media/police has an age wrong, and the guy could have moved. Anything's possible.

Vehicle borrowed from friend or sold a possibility.

When the vehicle wss resprayed would be interesting. As it is changed officially on vic roads records it wouldn't be too difficult to find out when that change was made on paper.

It appears the missing Bunyip man was found. He's posted on his FB page this year and has communicated with others there.

Yes, however, that guy would now be 60yo, from Bunyip and the registration of the seized Patrol is...

Unless its a personalised plate vic hasnt had w series plates for donkeys years.

SA has though. Either a personalised plate, fake plate of legit SA plate.

Could be a normal Vic plate. 'W' plates were released in the '00's.

Hmmm yes I thought he might have been another victim for a little bit ..
Said in January he's in a new relationship and I'm wondering if they moved in together in Caroline Springs, perhaps.

Placing fake plates from another state also makes sense, it takes extra time for the police in Victoria to do a thorough check on out of state plates. Sometimes they can't be bothered if it's over a small matter.

I don't think this is the missing man's car, it is too risky to drive around with fake plates and the blue now gold patrol is still registered under its original numbers, Itsnot hard to legally get new plate numbers
Only thing is, if you get a new plate it'll be from the current registration series, which atm in Vic starts with 1 (since 2013) unless you get a custom plate. I also don't think it's the same person, but we should find out in time.

TBH, If I was desperate, I would just steal some. Happens a lot.

Changed the colour of the 4WD lol wow
But kept the unusually coloured black PVC pipe and forgot to install the rear fender body piece that's missing.

And stayed in the area. He may be a 'senior pilot' but he's no genius.

I bought custom plates in a black and white once for a 40year old Chrysler to match the original numbers it was registered with, makes it looks like it was never unregistered which is desirable in classic cars, the papers don't event show them as custom!

I just hope for the family's sake, the Button Man, and all the campers out there that police have their man!

Gotta be some serious evidence with how it panned out today.
