The rumour was they had the flu v the Saints. One too many cold and flu tablets the week before for Crowley.
It was as substance contained within a painkilling tablet not prescribed by the club.
Meanwhile Ben Cousins attempts to enlist in the SAS.
Do I get a prize !!
What substance?
Do you mean a false positive or just a positive?Oxycodone and oxymorphone will trigger a result in match day tests.
I believe any opiate based pain killer is going to trigger a result in match day testing.
There is a case of this in the Eastern states lower leagues, he got 15 months suspension.
he always had more class than most, looks like Ryan is caught up in a pain killer issue, vague and problematic I guess. It was as substance contained within a painkilling tablet not prescribed by the club.
Meanwhile Ben Cousins attempts to enlist in the SAS.
Stronzo will the Freo board be following the Dons' board lead and having a Freo Supporters Only SALADA Thread Opposition Supporters Will Be Carded?
This isn't a joke when I say this but they are busy with something else at the moment.I know the Essendon thing will be taking up most of their attention but I can't understand why Crowley still hasn't been given his hearing six months after a positive test. Surely in the case of a positive test reading, the player in question is deserving of a quick hearing. Six months later is not quick.
Anyway, I sympathise for obvious reasons. Good luck and yes, it would be sad to see Crowley's career end like this.
Not that hard to fit in a separate hearing for one player, I wouldn't have thought. This isn't a joke when I say this but they are busy with something else at the moment.
Let's just make sure that we treat this case like we would if it involved any other club.
At a minimum- it looks like very unprofessional conduct.
One day you clowns are going to take responsibility for what you have done. Not that hard to fit in a separate hearing for one player, I wouldn't have thought.
I'm not carping Freo or Crowley here. I'm carping the AFL. Crowley deserves to argue his case and learn his fate quickly.
