I based on Ljp86 's Mini Run Home. .. Which pointed out that this was perhaps even the match of the pre-season. .. More riding on this match than the 1st v 2nd match which relies on other matches to be important. .. Winner takes all in this match because winner = top spot (most likely) and loser = no finals. ..

Geelong Gumbies

Geelong have won two matches and lost one in what has been a WLW pattern to date. This week says their due to lose but Geelong are an unpredictable outfit and the Gumbies could serve up anything against the Roys who will still be hurt at a drubbing courtesy of the Bombers. A cracking game awaits and probably the best so far in the pre-season with the Group B minor premiership on the line.

Coach Jenkins has just fronted the media regarding possible doping breaches at the Roys, here is a copy of the statement he read out.

"Thanks for coming to my press conference you pack of vulture bastards. A few of you have been printing shit linking our club to systematic doping of our players, a practice you claim has been going on since I joined the club in December. I'm here to tell you that most of you don't know which way your arse is pointing, and those of you that do seem to enjoy talking out of it.

Have a look at our side, do you honestly believe that any one of these clowns are on performance enhancing drugs?? These pricks are flat out getting on and off the team bus let alone play a decent brand of football. The only supplements I've introduced to the playing list since my arrival has been a healthy dose of Vitamin R, that's right, a healthy reality check. These princesses have been swanning around for too long making excuses for their mediocrity. I didn't take this job on to finish mid table, I'm a winner for **** sake, and these dickheads will be too if they listen to me and do what I say.

Honestly if any of these old pricks got jabbed with a syringe I think they would just wither and die. Their skin is like rice paper and I'm sure their hearts are just circulating dust around their fragile bodies.
