Welcome to the Sweet FA Rising Star Award for season 28, where we identify and showcase the next stars in the land of Sweet. At the beginning of round 1, 28 rookies were on the path toward making their qooty debut with all twelve clubs represented by this year’s crop. These kids will kick, handball and tackle their way into your hearts as we dance across the 16 home and away rounds that make up season 28.

Each week during the home and away rounds, one rookie will be nominated for outstanding performance on the qooty field. In a major departure from the season 27 Rising Star Award, this season’s nominations will be purely statistically based and will be based on Baz Stats rather than simply being another midfielders award. Posting won’t go completely out the window though – players must post a minimum of five times in their team’s match thread or have averaged five posts per week in match threads across the season to be eligible for a nomination in a given week.

At the end of the season, one winner will be selected from the sixteen players nominated and crowned as the Season 28 Rising Star.

Could it be you?

Can you point me in the direction they came from?

So I can avoid that area
Gladly. First documented use was by George Elliot in 1860. So avoid all of George's works. Other cliche creations are by other authors during and around that period when use started being documented. Also avoid authors from the late medieval times to the 20th century.

Cliché is onomatopoeic. Now that's a cool fact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
