Landfill can fit another 8k posts.

Better get started if I want to fill it up before Christmas.

Any more landfill and it will start to stink, get overloaded and they'll have to move it to another site to pollute. Maybe they can move it to Gold Coast as they're pretty much 100% landfill material already.

That'll make it 2 ruors and a thread nuking since it started. It's been very productive but also devoid of anything at the same time. There's only so much room in Landfill :drunk:
NOPE

there’s room for every existing and future Antonio BlueVein post

Season 28 saw 34 new players and @Cadaver’s latest alt, Antonio BlueVein, take the fields of Sweet. Together they combined for 458 games, 5,607 disposals, 344 goals and 21,929 Dream Team points. Off the field they combined for 9,319 match threads posts although one rookie did make up more than 1/3 of those posts….

This season’s Rising Star award nomination process saw a deviation away from those of previous seasons by focusing solely on the sim. For convenience, the Baz Stats series was used to determine the nomination each week with the player performing the best in their matchup being nominated. Match posting did not factor into the nomination process other than to reward those rookies who were making an effort to join in the banter by posting a minimum of five times per week.

The judging of the award for this season is similarly statistically based and the S28 winner will be the player judged to have performed the best in the sim. Posting quantity and quality has not been factored into the final Rising Star rankings.

The final rankings have been determined by ranking each rookie’s statistical output against every other rookie and giving them a score for that statistic that is inverse to their ranking. For example, with 35 rookies, the #1 ranked rookie in a given statistic would receive 35 points while the #35 ranked rookie would receive one point. The totals for each statistic were then weighted according to the Dream Team formula to provided a total score.

The nominees for S28 are...

That concludes the Rising Star series for season 28. Thank you for following along this season. Congratulations to Dr Mantis Taboggan as the winner of the season 28 Rising Star award as well as all of this season’s nominees. Most importantly, thank you to all of the rookies who joined the Sweet FA board this season. I hope you have enjoyed your experience and continue to do so in the future.

This season I am able to conclude by saying that I have a couple of volunteers lined up to take this over next season. A big thank you to Antonio BlueVein and Bloodied52 for putting their hands up to take the Rising Star series forward in S29.

Congratulations Dr Mantis Taboggan on winning the Rising Star. Thanks for all the hard work you put into the stats and this award Barrybran.

Middle of the table from a half forward flank is a decent enough achievement.

My man Bloodied52 absolutely cruelled by whatever system that was used here.

Was this done by the Baz Stats? If so, no wonder.

Raw data my friend. This is what happens when you park someone in a forward pocket for a season.

Wonders and sticking their rookies in shitty positions, name a more iconic duo.

I quite like the forward pocket. My main job is to be the decoy for the almighty Sab22 . I hope to hell he does not see this thread and realise how many goals I kicked. I will cop a fearful flogging.

Congrats to the good doctor for his outstanding season and well deserved win. He is one of the 34 Rookies who have injected new life (if not peds) into the SFA.

Thank you Barrybran for your terrific, albeit occasionally erratic, efforts in initiating and following through on the thread over the season. His Central Committee of himself must have had many debates on the weekly nominations.

Of course Mr Baz did have his moments of controversy, not least being his peculiar refusal to acknowledge the startling debut and continued good work of the Roys' young hero - Beandip . Generally Mr Baz took suggestions about his oversight in good spirit by adopting the cop on point guard position and directing us where to go.

Over the season this award and the thread have become synonymous with Barrybran. The entire Rookie intake have insisted Baz maintain his role as the one man Central Committee S.29 and future seasons. Happily he has agreed.

But I just dobbed you in...

Thank God this seasons Rising Star is over .....congratulations Dr Mantis Taboggan ....but a Rookie Award which can be won by an "inactive" Rookie ....is a failed award system

Antonio BlueVein , Bloodied52 ....please take the award back to its origins, as intended by the awards forfathers .....I have faith in you

Nice thoughts Wayneo. But the entire S.28 Intake respects the groundbreaking work from Barrybran

Should the Revolutionary Council of the Rookies Council agree, two or more of us proletarians may be delegated to provide Baz with a bit of advice from the cheap seats aka the interchange bench of history.

Appreciated.

I might be the most idealistic Commissar for Internal SFA Security ever.

As such Wayneo you are sentenced to a max of three posts a week for the next decade.

Your posts will all be in the heroic verse form invented by TJASTA . Each Leap Year you will be encouraged to post in the form of pantskyle for just one day.

12 posts per week may be inactive by Bombers standards but not by league standards. I look forward to seeing what can be produced when more than one person has the time to dedicate to this project.

I wasn't referring to Dr Mantis Taboggan .....the example I was referring too was that Ruck for the Dragons, who's an inactive in a prime position .....well maybe not, if Test Tickle & U2tigers are anything to go by

The good doctor is a diamond tough performer in the Bantz and on the ground.

I suspect Beandip along with a couple of the S.28 Soviet will provide you some theoretical guidance and practical direction.

I expect TedDougChris will also offer you some direction.
