Many of you may not realise this, but this week Dragons FFC centreman Stoods plays his 100th SFA game! Amazing that these things can sneak up on you like this. If you were paying attention you may have also realised that I posted a handful of sneaky chicken gifs in the match thread this week as homage to the great man. You see - he has a techno chicken avatar, so there is a bit of a connection to him there. Kudos to those of you who noticed this little Easter egg (get it?!?!). ​

Stoods joined Sweet all the way back in Season 24 at Roys FFC with his great mate Matt_352. They were both recruited by the legend fitzroybowiedog himself all the way back in 2017, and played alongside current day Roys such as Mobbs, Mooch, TedDougChris, Allikat and Runk. He won the royboy2 Award in his first season as the most consistent player at the Roys, and played 52 games for them across three seasons - including in their Season 25 Premiership winning side. ​

He left the league at the end of Season 26 before reappearing in Season 30 to join the Dragons under the leadership of AceAndy. Once again he was alongside Matt_352, and was part of the great influx of players to the Dragons that season including the likes of Ashman OG, MC Bad Genius, Bradesmaen, T2B_ and VandoHawk. ​

He won the Captain's Encouragement Award in his first season with the Dragons, and has been a reliable contributor to Dragons match threads over the past three seasons. So much so that a few weeks ago he finally made a well-earned move to the Dragons midfield, and is currently in the process of making the centre position his own - only just last week against the Royals he had 33 disposals, which is a career high.​

So good luck for your milestone game this week Stoods - hopefully we can get the W for you as we continue our march to the big (chicken) dance this season. ​
