A very similar story to the game two seasons prior: the Warriors jumped out of the blocks with the first goal of the game (this time thanks to former Warrior now Roy zackah), but the Dragons found the extra gear early on and raced to a six goal lead late in the first quarter. A trio of goals to gym4life and a couple to premiership fullback SaltPeter had the Dragons flying. The second term was a tight tussle, with three goals to Warrior Max Milburn the highlight. This got them to within 10 points at one stage, but a settler from new Dragons skipper AceAndy brought the margin back to 16 points at the half. The momentum was back in the Dragons' favour in the third quarter, with Pie 4 Life getting on the board and a brace to Jatz the difference. The Warriors put the heat back on in the final quarter though, and a couple of goals to Kabanna and another to Max Milburn brought the margin down to single figures with ten minutes to play - but the cool heads of AceAndy and gym4life broke the Warrior hearts once more. Dragons by 23. candiehappy led the engine room for the Warriors with 8 marks and 28 disposals, whilst Hatchy1992 was the workhorse for the Dragons with a solid 24 disposal, 7 mark, 3 tackle game. gym4life best on ground with 18 disposals and 5 goals from full forward and the wing.

Hurry up and get to Season 30, Round 13 or I'll help harry find where you hid the belt.

Alright Dragons. The premiership hangover is well and truly behind us after that walloping we dealt the Bombers last week. Now we're up against the current league basement dwellers - the Coney Island Warriors! One may consider this an inevitable win (and recent performances would suggest you'd be correct) but they're well and truly due for a W against us - so go easy on the KFC on Saturday night. * s_t loves to count and display numbers but has no idea how to interpret them. he is more confused mudman than rainman.

He captains the Dragons

Is there a more soul sucking, shit club in the SFA than the Dragons? Typically, teams change over time and the majority of teams now are very different to what they were when I first started in this joint.. The Dragons on the other hand are the blandest, most vanilla bunch of "no u" deadshits I have encountered. Not to mention, pretty much every captain since Hate stepped down has been uninspiring and plain boring (apart from PhenomenalV1, I liked that guy).

Also, has there been a more boring poster in this comp than AceAndy? and a bigger flog? Everyone thinks he was such a nice guy, but he is responsible for bringing the absolute stain that is serial_thrilla and not only that, bailing out like a flog and making Thrilla an SFA captain.

This game is dramatically different to the previous games we've looked at so far, in that the Dragons kicked the first goal of the game courtesy of our very own Knifey Spoony. After that...things headed in a similar direction to the others. the Warriors kicked a couple of goals in reply to Knifey's effort to give themselves a tasty six point lead....but then the Dragons curb stomped the Warriors for the rest of the game. The lead was 40 points by the first break thanks to two goals each to Pie 4 Life, Ljp86 and Davo-27 - and the margin stayed there about for the rest of the match. The final margin....40 points.

4 goals each to Davo-27 and Daniel1812 (who also nabbed 26 disposals after starting in the forward pocket!) took the headlines, but a solid 31 disposal 5 mark effort from S28 Rising Star winner Dr Mantis Taboggan was what set up the win. For the Warriors BEEG nabbed four goals of his own whilst harry000 was the best of the mids with 25 disposals.
