3 and it's a 2-point penalty as it was last season. The committee decided that we need to be more punitive, justice and standards and yada yada yada and here we are with a suspension added to it.
So we're doing warnings and punishments simultaneously?

The one-game suspension is now in addition to the strike for minor offences.
Wait what? Captains are missing games for missing colons or putting a comma instead of a hyphen?

Rules are broken.

The Gumbies offence is clearly more of a functional problem, potentially impeding simmers or causing chaos. Yet the penalty is the same?

Rules are broken.

FWIW Falconista has cocked up here but there are 13 club captains and administrator in the committee. How do you guys manage to **** up something so simple?

It's a penalty to the individual captain and a warning to the team.
I’ve got an idea.

Why don’t we warn the captain and the team when it’s something like colons and hyphens.

And punish when it’s something functional which impairs the ability of our volunteer simmers to do their job (such as editing teams after deadlines and failing to note said changes).

They simply can’t be on par. And I love the drama created by penalties, and the realism it creates when there are breaches and consequences just like the real leagues.

Just not over commas, colons and hyphens in round 1 team sheets in a first offence.

Who’d be a captain these days?

The committee must revisit these rules as a matter of urgency. Are they in the best interest of the game, or does this negatively impact the enjoyment and involvement of some of our best and most giving posters?

Tell us you don't know who the captains are, without telling us you don't know who they are.

Realistically we can get rid of 80% of team sheet rules if they are purely there to serve a functional purpose. In fact, SoO proves that the comp can work perfectly fine with no team sheet deadlines.

But apparently, having rules that attract penalties is popular and deregulation is not.

Don't forget the Case of the Uneven Hyphens Kennedy Parker! Do not let the Gumbies slip this one by you - it's equally as offensive as the comma or lack of colons!
YES. Another Gumbies mistake. This must be punished severely! Apparently.

I rarely concede defeat. But yes, you’ve got me.

+1 for punishing irregular hyphens

+1 for punishing the Phoenix for using short hyphens when eth-dog is in their team

There is a clear difference between the em-dash and the en-dash. The book must be thrown here.
Most normal people don't even know what an em-dash and and en-dash is so no.

Soft as butter. 👎
It is clear that anarchy rules supreme in your current reign as Sweet Admin. Em-dashes en-dashes are used randomly and haphazardly. What's next? Semi-colons being used instead of colons???

Sounds great 👍
