4B) Squad Changes

Any changes to the previous season's final squad must be listed in the current season's initial squad submission denoting the additions as "INs" and subtractions as "OUTs".

If a change is required to a team list for any addition or subtraction it must be noted in a post in the current season's squad submission thread.

The change must include alteration to the player list, and the list of any additions ("Ins") and subtractions ("Outs")

The initial squad submission must be altered (preferred) or re-posted (if original poster unavailable) to reflect these changes.

Squad changes are considered complete once both of these above actions have been carried out.

Any players involved in squad changes are unable to be named in a team sheet for the new team until a valid change has been completed.

Any players that have closed or permanently banned accounts are not considered to be active and therefore those players must be removed from the submitted squad and the squad minimum criteria must still be met.

A player may only have one account as a listed player in the Sweet FA. No aliases allowed. A minimum 8 game suspension applies for a breach. Alias accounts may be used in a joking manner in media and match threads only, any alias accounts posting in a sign up thread will be considered a breach.

Failure to adhere to these Rules will be punished under Sec[6] of these Rules, as determined by the Administrator.

As we can see from the current OOB squad list, they have listed their INs and OUTs at the bottom of their list, as per tradition:

Now what is curious is that they list our good friend fumbler as an OUT, despite never having played for the OOBs before.


This is a clear breach of the rules, and I know how much you love precedents, so here's a couple of cases of teams being penalised for listing their INs and OUTs incorrectly:

The Baghdad Bombers have been charged with breaching Rule 4A after an incorrect squad submission



In their S33 squad submission, they omitted four players (mochacinolatte, Dadda Dave, Osc1 & Andronicus) from their S32 squad and failed to list them in their outs for the season.

As you can see, they listed retiring player VeinGlorious in their outs for S33, but failed to mention the other 4 delisted.

As this is an invalid squad submission, this is classed as a high impact charge.

Therefore, Bombers co captains BLUEALLTHRU and Metalcrusher will miss round 1 and the Bombers will start the season on -2 points.

As per usual process, the Bombers have the right to contest this charge and have until 11:59 Tuesday 1st of Feb to do so.

Well... The Swamprats have been found to be in breach of Rule 4B for incorrect squad change as Power Raid has been removed from the squad submission from the previous season.

It is my understanding that there was no intention for Power Raid to be delisted from the Swamprats, Power Raid continued to partake in Swamprat match threads and be involved in the team PM so for all intents and purposes is a Swamprat player.

There is no good reason why he was missing on the S34 squad submission but c'est la vie.

As a result of this breach - the Swamprats have recorded SECOND STRIKE under rule 4B.

In addition to this. The Swamprats have subsequently named Power Raid on the wing of the Round 1 team sheet making them in breach of 5B - naming an ineligible player as well because Power Raid is not on the official squad.

As a result of this breach - the Swamprats have recorded THIRD STRIKE under rule 4B which mean the Sin City Swamprats will be penalised 2 points to be recorded on the next update of the ladder.

The close this matter, philreich please edit the Swamprats official squad to include Power Raid.

There is recent precedent for this, this exact same matter was voted on by the tribunal in Round 1 of the previous season with the Baghdad Bombers failing to list their outs. The result of the vote was in favour of downgrading that penalty from a high impact to a medium impact.

Not only did I voted in favour out that decision because it was common sense, I was the deciding vote. My stance has been consistent the whole way through even in a similar case where it wasn't my team in the firing line.

So for those looking for a pound of flesh, you can help yourself to a bag of dicks.

Amazing. The hypocrisy from the OOBs is clear to see: angry at the Dragons for not delisting fumbler straight away (I swear it'll happen very soon), yet they're holding Ligma hostage at the same time. smh

You make a convincing case serial_thrilla there fumbler was not a subtraction between the previous season's final squad vs the current season's initial squad.

The Ophidian Old Boys have been penalised under 6B for incorrect changes as per 4B and have been issued an Official Warning as Strike 1.

6B) Minor Offence

The following list of offences will result in a Strike under a 'Three-Strike Policy'. Which is outlined below:

1. Official Warning
2. 1-game suspension to the captain, if there are multiple captains at a club, the captain of the offending club will be randomly selected for suspension.
3. 2 point deduction, plus a 2-game suspension for the captain (if there are multiple captains at a club, the captain of the offending club will be randomly selected for suspension)
