I can't speak for everyone but for me personally i despise seeing players get injured and yes that includes Port... If we had played any other team and the same incident happened I would also be writing on their board coming from a place of care. Not every footy fan is an arseh*le who wants to see their opponents reamed into the ground.

If it was a tight grand final then maybe... but for that lol. Imagine losing your job because you OKed Aliir to get 7 kicked on him by the big Texand in a embarassing loss to the arch rival.

The fact aliir is back on and Jones is sitting on the bench instead of being subbed is obscene.

The club has form in this area with putting concussed players back on. The word for it is desperation.

I agree that stinkly is desperate to save his own rear end but i think Allir came out of the hit looking a bit better than Jones. The right decision imo was made

Aliir didn’t have a concussion test. The Dr looked at the footage and decided it wasn’t necessary.

You don't need to be. Its process and governance, not medical.

The doctor did not assess Aliir for concussion despite very clear evidence he clashed heads and was affected by that clash.

There must be an investigation and if needed very severe consequences

Oh yeah a footy player in the commentary box is 100% right and our doctor is 100% wrong.

It didn’t look good but siding with roo over a medical opinion without knowing all the facts and just seeing what we all saw on the Tv is flipping ridiculous.

And roo was basically hoping like hell Allir was concussed because the only showdowns we’ve won in recent times has been because he has dominated. He had no concern for his welfare.

As a Hawthorn supporter, i admire Aliir's courage in running back into the pack. I have for some time thought and discussed with mate's as to the loyalty and passion doctors have for there teams - to the point of making emotional decisions rather than than using logic and best practice. (they are only human)
It is time for the AFL to supply independent Head troma specialist at all AFL game to rule and rule only on head knocks, leaving team doctors to govern all other injuries.
