Oh yeah a footy player in the commentary box is 100% right and our doctor is 100% wrong.

It didn’t look good but siding with roo over a medical opinion without knowing all the facts and just seeing what we all saw on the Tv is *ing ridiculous.

And roo was basically hoping like hell Allir was concussed because the only showdowns we’ve won in recent times has been because he has dominated. He had no concern for his welfare.

Stop pretending it's rooshitto vs our doctor. It's anyone with eyes vs our doctor, and soon to be the AFL medicos vs our negligent doctor.

I think rooshooto gets a bad rap for this. If he wasn’t a crows board member we wouldn’t question it. He probably shouldn’t be commenting on this because of his position at the crows but he’s right. 🤷

commentators saying players were definitely knocked out when they are just dumb **** ex players is not needed or professional and wouldn't fly in any league, their opinion is completely irrelevant

Simply remove any ambiguity and make the HIA test mandatory for collisions involving the head. Removes this grey area and places less responsibilities on med staff to make on the fly decisions. Can see the AFL going this way, however the 20min layoff may have to be relaxed in cases where the test is negative , as this can decide games.

It looked bad live and at the game I assumed when he came back on so quickly that the collision must not have been that bad, but there's no way our doc can talk his way out of not concussion testing Aliir.

Also I have no doubt there's pressure from the coach to keep players on so he can go as well, as well as Davies, Koch and Richardson for mismanagement and allowing it, especially given our previous form with concussion management which is arguably leave worst.

They've put Kens job before Aliirs health.
I know that the Sack Ken thing is kind of a meme at this point, but in a hypothetical scenario that Ken was doing well coaching (a fever dream lol) and if he was found to be putting pressure on the docs to not do a test on Aliir, I’d still be calling for Ken’s head as well as the docs.

KH: “There was no head contact. Is that clear?” 🤔

Unacceptable!

"So, doctor, please look at exhibit p1. There was a clash of heads, wasn't there? And both players went immediately to ground, didn't they? They were laid out for a while, weren't they? Aliir Aliir looked particularly bad didn't he? In fact you went to him first, didn't you? And yet, after all that, you didn't think the footage warranted a head injury assessment for Aliir, right? He should have been assessed though, shouldn't he?"

If I was acting for the club/doctor, that's the kind of cross examination I would be expecting. If I was for the players or AHPRA, that is part of the cross-examination I would be preparing.

Now imagine if they put Ken on the stand as well. Any competent lawyer would destroy the bumbling fool.
