How refreshing was it to hear Brad Scott talk about Essendon's supporters and what they did for the team and win over GWS. Hinkley NEVER mentions supporters nor the club. It's all about him. Always has been. Always will be.

Every other ring has an arrow to the inner sanctum... I was a member through the darkest years and donated to the club when we thought it was going to fold.

That's surely a mistake, given it can't possibly have been intending for partners to be linked there twice, but heck if that doesn't inadvertently sum up this whole situation

We would have spent an absolutely eye watering amount of money for this.

Couldn't possibly have an external review by successful football people despite a decade of being a running joke. We'll get the finger painting consultants in.

Edit: I actually don't have a huge issue with the club trying to improve it's culture, but it's galling when we've been almost unbelievably insular for a decade in the football department. How we conduct ourselves would be arrogant if we'd won a couple of flags. When you haven't won anything it's absolute bullshit.

As much as many of us may not like King for his unnecessary crapola about JHF he has been a virtual lone voice in applying any heat to Hinkley.
