Maybe Olsen who can’t stop whinging about compensation over an umpiring error should just be thankful they didn’t get a $100k fine and their club trashed in the media for a week over that mcAdam incident.
Maybe the Keays point was an act of the footy gods. So many crows fans that rode into this thread on their high horse after a showdown win but said nothing about the mcAdam incident, getting their rightful dog up them.

Also, if you’d like to point to the specific compulsory actions of the protocol that were expressly ignored then might be relevant too.

Maybe you want to argue that he should have been tested - I might not disagree - but none of the surrounding issues or situation have any relevance or overlap to the previous matters
1. There should be independent specialists
2. Club doctors are put in unfair positions
3. Sometimes extreme situations can bring those unfair conflicts to a head (like taking 2 players off at once) which places all sorts of pressure on the club doctor
4. That extreme situation led your doctor to ignore the protocol which was explicit in what must happen
5. It’s not clear what other pressure he was under but the current rules put him in a very difficult position and he chose to ignore the protocol
Gurning McAdam over and over doesn’t make the situations similar

It actually exposes how fake people are especially Crows fans that pretended they cared for the wellbeing of Aliir and Jones. Like zero check up to see how they are a week post incident. What's the protocol and how does it apply to Aliir and Jones, but not a guy who had his cheekbone broken by an opponent's shoulder?
You made a lot of posts in this thread about Aliir and Jones, and this seems to be the first one you're making about McAdam despite fairly similar circumstances (A guy received a heavy blow to the head and didn't have a concussion test)
It's not a big stretch to deduce that your concern wasn't for the welfare of Aliir, because if so you'd have expressed the same concern for McAdam.

Serious question, in good faith. What part of the protocol was ignored by our doctor? If you can genuinely explain this to me, and then tell me why that macadam lying motionless on the ground for 5-10 seconds after his high bump that broke his cheek and didn’t not even require him to leave the field to be tested, did not ignore the same part of the protocol as in the allir situation, then I am totally happy to listen. I am here, hoping to be convinced.

That’s a tad harsh. My crows friends feel much the same that concussion tests should be done routinely after a knock to the head. A quick look at Paul Seedsman’s plight transcends club and tribal loyalty in this.

exactly. some of the "all da crows fans are stupid jerks" stuff is pretty tiresome. at the end of the day every fan base is just people, some of them will be good people and some will be flogs. that's the same with every club.
i have no doubt that some of the concern for aliir was genuine. and i'm sure some of it was just pathetic point scoring.
mcadam imo probably should have come off, but our treatment of jonas was probably even more bizarre, especially considering what just occurred.
the jones/aliir clash certainly appeared much worse than mcadams hit, or jonas/burton on the weekend. that's why it was controversial.
