maybe they don't want to do it for kenny anymore hey? it's on the coach to motivate his team to win when it counts, he's never been able to do that

But knowing the ins and outs, strengths and weaknesses of both his players and the opposition, briefed by his full-time opposition analyst and network of forward scouts, is something that is ABSOLUTELY in his control and should be bare minimum requirement for a full-time football coach earning in excess of $800K per year.

He can’t be any worse than Hinkley. However on a serious note, when has the midfield ever seriously functioned with Hinkley as senior Coach?

I'd love to know what the Ken defenders think a coach actually does. Apparently he can't kick it for em, he's not responsible for player development, he's not responsible for getting them up for big games, and now he's not even responsible for planning for the opposition? Why are we paying $800k a year to a bloke who's apparently just the world's highest paid interchange steward?

Agreed GP, particularly with the `Port doesn't mind' bit, being successful on the field which should be the number one reason for any football club in any comp in the world to exist, and drove the PAFC to be the best it could be for 150 plus years is now secondary to this over the top community BS where the standards for its original reason for existing have now fallen through the floor.

It can be changed with a complete clean out of kern and all the other clowns who have brought this upon us, but if/when that does happen there won't be any 5 minute fix, and I suspect it could take at least a few years for the club to regain the respect the current hierarchy has flushed around the `S' bend in their haste to turn us into a version of St Kilda mark 2!

I think that it’s something that started before them. The last time we were ruthless was with Cahill in 1998.

We hold Choco on far too long. 2007 happened. He stayed more 2 seasons and something after that.

We paid for those mistakes, but we didn’t learn from them. Koch made sure of that.

We will need to pay it all again with interest.

I think this will be the last one.

I'm starting to put together my Hinkley has been sacked celebration post which will be my last post in this thread.

The tide is receding fast.

I hope I'm right...it won't be the first time I've been premature.
