The most noiceable thing about that thread is that most of the happy clappers who c;aimed to be the "real Port Supporters" aren't here anymore and I suspect many no longer follow the club or even AFL.

The ones accused of not being "real Port supporters" are often the ones still here.

The same thing no doubt will happen to the latest iteration of the happy clapper real Port supporters but if the club drops down the adder there will be less of them getting replaced.

Obviously my expectations for Port are way higher than what I’m about to say but at the bare minimum, the AFL is an entertainment product.

Port Adelaide provide absolutely none with the way they play. Forget the losses, the mediocrity - at its core, it’s just ****ing horrible to watch and not fun.

I was listening to the Footy with Broden podcast after they got pumped by Collingwood a few weeks ago, the host (a Melbourne supporter) ranted for a solid five minutes about Goodwin, and if you replaced the word 'Goodwin' with 'Hinkley' it could've easily been one of us talking.

I couldn’t keep listening to this show because they have had NFI about Hinkley (unless this has changed over the last month or so). Classic shallow Vic media takes on Port - ladder position looks nice therefore Ken is good, and by golly he sounds like a good old boy in the press conferences.

I recently watched “Dynasty”, which was a brilliant documentary chronicling the rise & success of the New England Patriots.

There was a short scene showing the Patriots Head Coach, Bill Belichick on a tread mill preparing for an upcoming game. He literally had a mountain full of pages & a handful of highlighters before him while running out a few miles in the process.
