In any industry after years of failure the axe has to fall on the people running the show. Why do our players keep taking heat for a poor system and a coach that doesn't know why we can't be a team that has consistency at winning.

In motor racing if you have an average driver in the best car you don't win Bathurst.

KT has even said it without realizing it, (we are fully resourced and the footy department wants for nothing) so why the **** don't they deliver, he says they have changed players and coaches, is he that ****ing blind, the only thing we haven't changed is the muppet head coach.

The thing I love the most about trajectory is that it suggest we've already launched the rocket and now we're just waiting for it to go where we aimed it, as if it's not something we need to work hard at and improve every step of the way.
The rocket is in a stable orbit around planet Mediocrity.

Ok you want him sacked but this is a disgraceful comment Spadge.

Its not disgraceful at all. It's a one way ticket because he doesn't need to come back. Its very clever.

Burton must be wondering how the hell he ended up in the shit show. Premiership ruckman Lycett, comes to Port fresh off a great season with a Premiership and ends up playing reserves footy.
This club continually turns good players that come from good systems into just average under Hinkley.

We haven't even achieved stable orbit. With the three Ks piloting the rocket ship it is in constant danger of plummeting out of orbit and burning up while attempting to safely land on Mediocrity.

Pressure from where?

Pressure from the members that they continue to ignore?

If the performance is extremely poor and sacking Hinkley is inevitable then the club can't continue to snub the collection of past players demanding for change. A turn for the worse on the field would surely bring more than one change.

I’m really worried how bad it has got to get before they even acknowledge a problem let alone devise a plan.

We have no major sponsor and members are dropping off rapidly but they insist that we are on track. Jeez I would hate to see when they say we have a problem

I'm more confident of change if we dive down the ladder but if we are roundabouts where we usually are then I have no confidence they will change and that's where I can't imagine the past players remaining in idleness.

Here's the thing.

Our new Everest as a club is to make the finals. Where other clubs aspire to win premierships and achieve this goal maybe once or twice every 10-15 years, our goal is to make finals. So where we as fans read 9th-10th-5th-10th-10th as fail-fail-minimum pass-fail-fail, they as a club read it as close-close-success-close-close. They would see the last 5 years much the same as say the West Coast Eagles would, who in that time have competed deep 5 times and won 1 flag. On our own measures, we've competed deep (ie been in finals contention) 5 times and won 1 flag (ie made the finals).

Until this club readjusts its standards to actually being serious about winning premierships and being successful, we'll continue to deliver mediocrity, at best.

Totally agree. It seems that stability and finishing mid table is acceptable for the little club from Alberton.

2015: 9th

2020: I mean...
You get what you deserve -

Just have written elsewhere that Ken has stopped saying that. Wonder why?

KT actually said we have the money but we chose to stay on with ken. That’s indicative of how amateurish our club mentality has become

I'm not gonna waste 24 minutes watching this, so which monies did he say we have to do what?? We have SFA monies free.

Why not? What are the past players going to do about it?

The AFL appointed board members don't face election by club members let alone past players so why would they care how much noise they make.

As long as they do what the AFL requires of them their board position is safe and the past players can fight over the two lame duck member elected board positions.

Because it's a shit statement and not true.

Karma is about cause and effect.

So we have a coach who believes and sprouted shit for years?

Someone who didn't understand what the law of cause and effect is actually about.

Karma (/ˈkɑːrmə/; Sanskrit: कर्म, romanized: karma, IPA: [ˈkɐɽmɐ] ( listen); Pali: kamma) means action, work or deed; it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect).

At no point does it mention 'deserve', or any sense of morality or justice at all.

So we have a coach who is instilling bullshit into his players. That's why we are going nowhere.
