judging on how hinkley operates; we will come 5th next year, lose a home elim and hell trigger a contract extension and then we'll have another glorious period of stability in coming 10th for another 3 seasons.

There is no way there can or will be a boardroom spill no matter how low we finish next season. The board members aren't going to vote to spill the board even if they could. If any AFL appointed board members quit because they are unhappy with what the AFL want them to do the AFL will simply appoint more compliant replacements.

It will be like when the SNAFL sacked Haysman and SNAFL appointees John Hood and Jane Jeffreys resigned because they were opposed to the SNAFL's plans for Ports.

I got as far as the 6:33 mark then signed off. Hadn't seen this presser before but felt like I'd heard it all before but here's what got me
"will Ken be the coach next year?"
KT "definitely.....and 2021" followed by blah blah blah then this little gem "we have an important relationship with our members".
Wtf! are you serious, imo you couldn't give a rat's arse about us. Made to feel like noisey trouble-makers you've trashed our brand,
hidden behind a handful of players that have done alright, dog whistled the kids/youth angle blah blah.
The completely new gameplan (version ?) that saw us beat the top teams blah blah. Making significant progress blah blah.
All up there was too much blah blah in the 6:33 of my life I'll never get back.

Tomorrow I'll tell the club membership to take me off auto renewal. Will I be back for our 150th and help cover Ken's ill gotten gains?
Dunno, s'pose it all boils down to a work/life balance as our co-captains and coach have said.
Maybe I should join Frampton out the door, put my money towards a golf club membership instead.
Sheesh I might end up happier and healthier. Right now the KKK's can all get stuffed.

It also basically just assumes that we'll have natural improvement from our kids, just like as assumed the kids in 2013/14 would go from good to great.

They've got NFI how to make us successful. Every time one of the leaders of our club opens their mouth, it's obvious.
