I like how he almost gives praise at the end for Frampton finally getting a game; cue the lack of perseverance this year when his role/position sorely needed to be played and wasn't.

how damning it is to know that the media love Ken because he has made Port Adelaide meek and soft.

Don’t you remember those 2 years out of 150 we were terrible?!

That happened to coincide with the period of the final vanguard of 2004 retiring (Tredrea, Lade, Cornes, P Burgoyne) and an extraordinary financial situation that was well on the way to rectification before the current regime took over?!

We should totally benchmark against those 2 years out of 150 when judging Hinkley’s performance nearly a decade later.

Where Hinkley is concerned, any comparisons that get made are at the lowest points in our short history, that's how our club now gets away with low to medium expectation.
I recall how the media in Victoria used to stick the boots in at any opportunity under Williams. Even the SA media had a laugh at our expense, Trigg coming out saying that Port are an embarrassment to SA, the way we go about playing football.

Choco is trying to work out how Ken KT & Koch have avoided the same scrutiny he and his board endured. The same as we have wondered why Ken was never taking any heat like other under achieving coaches.

It's all about Stability = mediocrity, and Ken, KT and Koch are good blokes.
The little SA club from Alberton paying it's bills. This is not a sport no more, it's a job, players included.

edit - the only advertiser readers I know are aged over 70 and are crows supporters. I have never met irl a port supporter who read the advertiser.
