.... starting a flag window with a narrow PF loss, followed by going 9th, 10th, 7th, 10th, 10th and preparing for the following season with the same President, CEO, head of footy dept and senior coach? .....
"Port’s chief executive says missing finals isn’t where the club wants to be, but the he is excited by the trajectory of the group after some significant changes over the past two years."

The 7th finish is the outlier, our trajectory is flatlining at 10th. How anyone, especially the CEO of the club, can be excited by that beggars belief.

We exist to be mediocre and make some community somewhere proud

Ken on Melbourne radio blaming our poor season on injuries it seems...
“We didn't get Charlie Dixon back (from a serious leg injury) until halfway through last year, Hamish Hartlett didn’t play until after the Shanghai game (in round 11), Ollie Wines basically had three broken bones in his body during the season, Jack Watts (leg) virtually missed the whole year and Robbie Gray probably wasn’t in his best condition (because of injuries) the whole way through, even though he still managed to play,’’ he told Melbourne radio.

How pathetic. Why Melbourne radio? Still has friends there.

Dixon didn’t have a preseason due to injury.

Hartlett didn’t have a preseason due to injury.

Wines missed half the preseason with his stupidity.

Gray didn’t have a preseason due to injuries.

I’m expecting all of these players to have better years than they did last season.

Sack the muppet, its bad for our Mental Health him being here any longer.

No mention of Tommy Rocklegs running on treacle.

Everyone has injuries. Good teams deal with it.

I could accept injury excuses in 2015-17: in 2015 because we didn't have depth, and because in 16/17 we got brutalised in specific, uncoverable positions (eg having to play Trengove in ruck).

In 2018 and 2019 I'd say our injury runs have been better than the average side in those years, but we've still finished 10th back to back.

Weak as piss!

I'm not sure whether this no-hoper actually believes his own drivel or if he's really that dishonest. Either way the man seems to avoid reality - how anyone can believe we'll get anywhere under his coaching is beyond me.
