A club rarely succeeds when there's so much hatred within and without. It's a strong word, but I think it's got to that stage.

• The fans hate the coach, the chairman, the board, and I hate to say it - certain players. Stuff it, let's be honest: most of us hate just about everything about Port Adelaide right now
• The coach clearly hates criticism, and he hates those who point out his shortcomings.
• The players hate those who say nasty things about their beloved Kenny.

These football-specific anonymous twitter accounts do have more than a whiff of troll or alias about them. I mean does someone really exist who devotes their whole bio to loudly exclaiming their port background, posts sporadically and then in bursts only ever about port, but with a strange focus on "toxic supporters" and making mildly controversial/unexpected claims?

Seems like a poorly executed potstirrer to me, don't know why this account keeps popping up as an example of happy clapper attitudes on here.

we had 5-6 real chances in the last qu and butchered them all through poor skills. That’s on the players. they panic and none of our leaders are good enough to lift through their skills. When one of the following stream out of the centre boak, wines,SPP, duursma, it’s close ya eyes time. We butchered so many 50 entries through lack of skill.

Exactly this. I feel this season has been death by 1000 papercuts. Unpopular opinion but I understood the first five losses (maybe apart from Hawthorn), that round one Brisbane game killed us with injuries not just the ones we saw Butters, Rozee, Alir, Gray Clurey Duursma etc but the ones we didn’t hear about. But since round 6 it’s been a ride of which team is going to show up today and who can withstand another jab in the knee, shoulder or ankle to play out a game. Charlie was an example of that yesterday, he was hobbling before he started the game after injuring himself last week.

Yesterday I had walk to away from the telly, in the second quarter we saw Collingwood pushing the ball forward at any cost while some of our guys…. And those wasted opportunities in the final quarter, I’d love to see what happens when Georgiardis reviews his games I get it that he’s only a kid but sometimes it’s really hard to watch. DBJ and Ollie back to the just kick it and see what happens.

The only positive note I can find is the future, Rozee looked guttered about the loss as did Butters - they both played well. Lachie Jones to me is a classic no BS port player and will be a star. Rome Burgoyne (year 10) will play with his brother in a few years and I can’t wait for it - Jase is all class.

We missed Houston’s class in the backlines. When it comes to our future captain I think it’s time for a change and I’d love to see Houston considered, brilliant skills reliable and level headed.

what's cowardly is a club completely ignoring the DIRECT FEEDBACK given to them, then getting upset when people get more angry and direct their frustrations elsewhere but still in a relatively benign manner

cowardice is not having the guts to sack a complete loser of a coach because he's chummy with the players and has wormed his talons around the entire administration into accepting failure.

I would still be concerned. Spend long enough under Ken and whatever dark magic he has conjured up and cast across the land, will get them eventually. Only a minority of people are immune.
