Koch on AA this morning:

"We have underperformed this year to our expectation, there's absolutely no doubt about that. And I'm not going to give excuses there are reasons for it, and we'll be as we do at the end of every season assess our entire football program, because it's a football program issue, it's not any one individual it's a program issue, and we'll be assessing and making changes at the end of the year."

Whilst David can be a hard read at times, this is the first admittance that there will be changes to the footy department at the club at the end of the season.
I don't believe for a second that they thought that a team of:

Ken, Bass, Chad Cornes and Monty in a new role...

would be able to perform at a similar level to Ken, Crazy Vossy, Bass, Monty in defence and Schofield

Regardless of what you think of each person, even looking just purely on role experience they are miles behind.

This tickled my funny bone. Recent conversation between a Port fan and a Collingwood fan - apparently the Pies fan has been calling Ken Hinkley "WaB" for months. The Port fan asked him, "What the * is WaB?" He replied, "Weekend at Bernie's, doesn't matter how s**t you are playing, he just stares out like a corpse."
Haha yep,it's like he freezes in the box,no plan b

The verbal equivalent of this

Hinkley coaching next year may be the final straw for me to simply not give a **** about footy anymore. The anger I have for how the club is being run simply is not healthy and I feel as if I’d be better off walking away.
100% ,I know others considering doing the same, club could lose millions next year in memberships and game day profits

It is the end of the year. Our season has finished

if Anthony Alesiani and Jack Hudson represent the modern Port fan, we are ******* doomed
The Chubby one works for the club officially.

Why anybody would bother listening to the soft shits is beyond me.

But, I thought that the football program was working. Rucci has definitely said it on several occasions, and I am pretty sure Koch has spruiched up the footy program once or twice this year too (although don’t quote me on the latter).

Secondly, he is already prejudicing the end of year review by stating “it’s not any one individual.” How does he know without carrying out the assessment first? He is making assumptions. It could be a number of individuals that are the root cause to the systemic issues within the department. You don’t know until you have a thorough investigation… finally.

As someone who walked away after last years prelim let me tell you that you are 100% better off, I’ll be back when Kens gone
