Roast Sack Koch - Chairman of The Redeem Team

What is actually going to change? The gaslighting has been turned up, but it doesn't take much to discredit that.

The list management team has been thrown under the bus and there is an element of just in time recruiting going on. I have some sympathy for them last year getting JHF over the line which was a great shell game of switching picks and left little room to move. We will target rucks and tall defenders in this trade period, so there's that.

But we had a club sanfl best and fairest winning ruckman on our list who we stuffed away in a forward pocket and backed in a ruck we delisted a few months later.

We've persisted with Lycett as we watched his fitness disintegrate before our eyes. We've persisted with Boak when he clearly wasn't fit, although in the end he was one of our few who performed in the last final.

Our game plan continually falls short in finals, but Hinkley, Cornes and Bassett survive. Will one or two of those go?

Every year we talk about our physical profile compared to other clubs, how we get overpowered, boys vs men and it never changes. Hayes might have been a lock if he was 10kg heavier and able to physically go with the bigger bodied rucks. Will we get changes to the High Performance team, whose performance is not that high?

What happens to Ratugolea and Sweet when they get here, do they suddenly lose 10kg to fit Port's athletic tall profile or does the physical profiling and game plan adjust?

Koch and Davies talk about reviews the results of which which usually are never revealed and nothing happens. But something has to happen this time because people are clearly unhappy, or worse still, have given up.

Nothing.
No.
No.
Yes and no.
I've given up.

It is getting to the point where it seems that the Kockle Brother is use to a ton of yes man who agree with everything he says and if not, they are fired into the Sun.

Just something as simple as Koch saying that Warren Tredrea needs to learn about the Port Adelaide Football Club means he is use to saying absolute rubbish and his yes men agreeing with it. When Joe Public hears that, they can smell it a mile away. Easy reasoning and logic show otherwise. He seems to be teeing off on a range of things and not quite hitting the mark at all.

It is like the Prince Andrew interview where he was use to lying and everyone agreeing that when the public saw the pig in swill and use to getting away with blue murder, it was just too much.

Nothing will change if it's left to them to make decisions on their own tenure. I'm convinced that if the AFL didn't force teams to the draft every year Dom Cassisi, Kane Cornes, and Matt Thomas would still be going around under this regime.

Translation: Warren Tredrea needs to go away and learn about the genius and infallible vision of David Koch.

Ben Demertzis's comments that Koch wanted us to be everyone's second favourite team ring true in the culture they've built.

We don't want to offend anyone, if we lose that's ok because we tried and hopefully didn't offend anyone. You know who everyone's second favourite team is? Losers. That's not Port Adelaide, it's bullshit.

We will make Rozee captain because he's a lovely boy but was torched in finals. Hinkley can talk about experience, but I watched Sam Walsh absolutely scorch teams with tough contested football, winning contested possessions and plenty of ball, despite no finals experience or pre-season. Rozee might have more flair than Walsh, but Walsh has given him a masterclass in finals football this year, with no finals experience.

I watched Brisbane last night who were a basket case only a few years ago, with players leaving and scattering across the country. They regrouped, rebuilt, developed a genuine hard edge and don't care if they give people the shits. They're just about winning and play with controlled violence. And now they're in a grand final while we - yet again - are not.

We talk a good fight under Koch's stewardship, but we make no hard decision to prove we mean it. As someone I know likes to say, Koch take a shit or get off the toilet.

Not just Brisbane - what about their opponent next week? Just weeks before we were humiliated in a preliminary final, Collingwood had finished 17th. Despite Koch's false statement that Ken is the best person to take us forward, this week's grand finalists are exhibits A and B, in terms of what can happen when you're prepared to make tough decisions, instead of sticking with a failed regime.

We don't want to offend anyone except our own fans, who we don't want anyway.

Ben is spot on about Koch wanting Port to be everyone's second team. There's countless quotes of him when he first got the chairmanship saying as much. Remember the "we want to bring the fun back to footy" shtick?

The irony that we're actually one of the most derided and despised clubs now.... and that's just from the white noise.

'Never tear us apart' indeed.

We can all be sticker person... someone print off a whole heap and we just stick them all over the place... I would find it quite amusing having "sack koch" and "ken out" all over the place.

It’s actually a really good idea, keep the burner on these frauds, especially during this offseason, as they are banking on disgruntled supporters chilling out.
Hinkley will be under so much stress next season chasing home and away wins. But boy oh boy if the wins don’t come…..

That's what they expect... everyone to just calm down and forget.

Never forget!!! Never forgive!!!

Having finished 5th, you'd think we'll be handed a tough early draw again. Imagine the heat on Hinkley and Koch if we're 0-5 again.

It will just give Ken another opportunity to “wow” the club’s spineless administration and his SEN sycophants when he keeps calm and steadies us to a 10-13 12th placing at the end of the year. “Ken is at the top of his game yet again”.

Except if it becomes 0-7 this time, there'd be no way back.
