No 4 Studio Album - Another Side of Bob Dylan

Released 8 August 1964

OK but a bit of a struggle. A cluster of fairly ordinary songs some seem like fillers at best (I shall be Free No 10) with only one that eventually became a real standard - It Aint Me Babe

I'll start scoring - 4 out of 10.

Best Song - Chimes of Freedom

Talked about a lot because its the first time Dylan goes electric but should only be talked about because its a brilliant record.

Starts with Subterranean Homesick Blues and ends with Its All Over Now, Baby Blue. Throw in Maggies Farm, Mr Tambourine Man and Its Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) and you've got a 10 out of 10.

"Disillusioned words are like a bullet's bark
As human gods aim for their mark
Make everything from toy guns that spark
To flesh-colored Christs that glow in the dark
Easy to see without looking too far
That not much is really sacred"

Deserves two songs (probably could include another 5)
